Amelia Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Salem School Threat on 6-6-06 5 June 2006 KPTV.com Oregon (FOX 12) -- Sprague High School officials said that they will institute extra security precautions this week in response to recent notes found on campus implying that there's a threat to the school Tuesday. According to school administration,someone left a note in a classroom last month that made a threat against the school on 6-6-06 and made reference to a horror movie opening on that date (The Omen). A second note found last week had a list of last names, including principal Cheryl Bower's, and also implied a threat. The school will have additional security officers and will not allow students to take backpacks into classrooms or allow students to leave once classes begin, principal Cheryl Bower said. Students will be required to enter the school through the main doors at the front of the campus. All other doors will be closed. Anyone with information about this threat is urged to call Salem Police.
