I rejected this messsage and did not leave California as the this prophet advised. So far I have felt a lot of quakes but not of that magnitude yet. I guess I am one of those scoffers. I always rolled my eyes at these kinds of messages for it made God out to be a vindictive all powerful being that said. If you speak not according to my will I will destroy you and all your kids and friends and families. That did not settle well with me. 26 years have passed and Loma Linda Church and hospital still stands. No earthquake leveled the hospital as this boys prophecy predicted. This was said in the context of the multitude of denominational fires around the turn of the century and shortly after--when for example the Review and Herald press burned when the plates for Kellogg's book, Living Temple, were on the presses. It was as if God had ordained that the building was to be burned to the ground." Also every person got out safely. Not one life was lost. Now that is punishment from a merciful God. The Cascadia fault has been locked since the last 9.0 plus quake on Jauary 28 at 9 pm 1700 AD. Average time between quakes 300 years. It could happen today or a few dacades from now but it will happen. Major 9.0 plus quake plus 30 to 100 foot Tsumamis will happen with the Tsuamis hitting 10 minutes after the shaking starts. Not much time to get to high ground with roads and bridges out along the coastline. Several hours later 15 foot Tsumamis will hit Hawaii and Japan. They will have several hours warning so loss of life should be minimal there. Geological records tell us the last Tsumami in 1700 swept one mile inland where hundreds of thousands of people live now. All this was reported on the Discovery channel on "It could Happen tomorrow" disaster senarios. Portland Seattle and Vancover are sheltered by the bays so the Effects of the Tsumamis will be minimal. Ron Lambert Posted June 20, 2006 Author Posted June 20, 2006 I had to work ten hours yesterday, so this is the first chance I have had to come on line after the 18th. Since the predicted earthquake and flood did not occur, I looked for some kind of comment on Pastor Day's church's website, but did not see any. I have sent an e-mail to pastor Day to ask him if he has a comment he would like to share. Quote
