I can sacrifice and be of service to others until the cows come home, but I don't need to be a member of the church in order to do that. I remain "on the books" as an SDA as a member of the "Conference Church" (whatever that is), and I still regularly attend a small SDA congregation. If I were to lose or drop my church membership, I would still attend that little SDA church. My membership in the SDA Church does not save me; my relationship with and trust in Jesus and His Father are what save me. When the chaos at the end of time ensues, church membership will be worthless or worse. I predict that in the end, all denominations will collapse except the one created by the Beast/Antichrist.
