Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted December 25, 2019 Members Posted December 25, 2019 A cousin of mine has been a Catholic, and is now telling me she's converting to Judaism — but still has her Mother Mary shrines in her home, celebrates Christmas, etc. She's posted pro-Jewish comments, which I fully endorse. However, she's also begun to post in-your-face items which almost smack of defamation of the basic tenets of Christianity. Today, she posted this on her FB page. Apart from the obvious comparison of Jesus with Muhammad, there is something inherently wrong with it, but I can't put my finger on it . I looked up the author of that tweet, and I'm not impressed with his/her ideas, language, nor communication style. phkrause 1 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

JoeMo Posted January 1, 2020 Posted January 1, 2020 Pam- What is wrong with your cousin's statement is that Muslims do not worship the same God as Christians and Jews. Islam calls for the death of Christians and Jews if they don't convert to Islam. The Islamic Prophet Jesus comes to destroy Christianity and martyr those who refuse to give their lives to Allah, according to the hadiths. They deny the death and resurrection of Christ, and deny His divinity. I do not claim this for all Muslims. There are many peace-loving Muslims that simply want to live their lives and their faith in peace and security, just like us Christians. I pray for them daily. Quote
