Three year old Rivky Cagan was at the doctor’s office for a checkup and Dr. Rothman wanted to weight and measure her.

After several unsuccessful attempts at getting her on the scale, her mother stepped in. "Rivky, Mommy has a scale at home. Stand on it just like I do."

Rivky settled down somewhat, stepped on the scale confidently, looked down and then spread out her hands and exclaimed, "Why?!"
