Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted March 8, 2020 Moderators Posted March 8, 2020 March 7, 2020 Today the SDA Church that I attend celebrated the Lord's Supper. The COOVID-19 virus scare is one, and there was something different about our celebration today. The plate that normally contains small containers of grape juice contained individual, hermetically sealed, containers of juice, each of which had a sealed upper chambers containing the symbol of the body of Christ. I had never seen that before. Quote Gregory
Members phkrause Posted March 8, 2020 Members Posted March 8, 2020 Our church did also celebrate the Lord's Supper on Sabbath!! Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Ellen Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I've never heard of that before, but it makes sense, my Chiropractor husband is so germ-conscious that that is exactly what he would recommend. I don't think it detracts from the actual meaning of the service. I presume all the members took part in each emblem in unity as before. Quote

I had never seen that before. I've seen such in catalogs for years, labeled as "Fellowship Cups." Looks like they're now about $50-$60 for 250 servings. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
