Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted April 11, 2020 Author Moderators Posted April 11, 2020 Clue: I gave this problem to my son who is a software engineer. His first response was: The numbers are not in a base-`0 system. He was wrong, the numbers were in a base-10 system. HIs second was related to a stack overflow. Again he was wrong. The answer is simple. It does not require one to be a software engineer. It only requires one to think out of the box. Actually, every person reading this thread has the knowledge required to explain, as I have asked. When I started to tell my son the correct answer, I only got three (3) words out and he was giving it to me. It is a simple answer that is in the experience of every person reading this thread.
