Given that street demonstrations and riots seem to have the approval of many in goverment and casinos are allowed to be open while churches must close, it takes a bit of ingenuity to get around those people! Seems Pastor Doug has come up with a novel solution.

(Our church found a creative way to assemble safely on Sabbath without violating California bans on church gatherings. We are still allowed to gather and protest in California, so...)

PROTESTING THE DEVIL!
Dear Granite Bay members,
You are heartily invited to exercise your First Amendment rights to participate in peaceful gatherings and freedom of speech by joining in a heartfelt protest on Saturday, August 15, at 10:00am.
As true Protestants we will be peacefully protesting against the devil, sin, lawlessness, hate, and evil of every kind. (Satan especially dislikes a peaceful protest.)
During this gathering we will be …
• Reviewing our protest manual (which may look quite similar to a Bible)
• Rehearsing our protest slogans and songs (which are sometimes confused as hymns)
• We will be accepting contributions to underwrite our protest cause (might look like a church offering)
• Petitioning the highest authority with our protest (which could resemble prayer. Just saying.)
Our protests will not be very loud because we are hoping to disturb the devil and not our neighbor.
Because this is a protest against Satan there will be no looting, littering, blocking traffic or burning buildings or flags. Smiling at others is encouraged and this protest is open to all like-minded citizens of God’s kingdom.
Remember, the most effective way to protest the Devil is to worship Jesus, so please join us in the Granite Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church parking lot to protest against the devil's diabolical behavior since he took office.  We plan to keep protesting every week until Jesus sets up his own administration.
Our peaceful protest will begin at 10:00am and should conclude by 11:15am.
As always, keep in mind the current government health and coronavirus safety recommendations.

Those are the operative words right there!! Most of the other churches are not doing this, I'm not talking about the SDA churches they are actually following this procedure!! The church I attend has also been following the CDC guidelines! Also having said this, Pr Batchelor is being a little sneaky here, because he is following the NAD guidelines and this started around the beginning of June if I'm not mistaken?? So I'm guessing his, as all the other Adventist churches have been closed per the NAD also for a time!!

Then I would like to explain even further, it is spacing that is the problem. Other churches that open learned it quick. Plus, California especially southern is a hot spot. If churches could have outside services in country like setting with spacing and using mask, it is possible that could work. California is having an extremely problem with the heat as well so you could not sit in your car and keep it running it would overheat. The Bible made it plain that this is the beginning of sorrow and many refused to believe the POWER of YAHWEH! Those that protested, for justice for all, were protected by HIM. When the time of prophecies are being fulfilled those, who claim to know YAHWEH do not see how HE truly works! What happen with the killing of George Floyd not only affected us here in America, but around the world people woke up! People saw how they have treated not only Black people but the Asian people who are also Black. They came from Canaan and Blacks came from Kush! The Native Indians have suffered as well and again they comes from all the sons of Ham. They mostly are from Canaan, but the Creeks and the Seminole  are more related to Kush and Canaan. But it is not only Ham children, the Ashkenazi's come from Gomer who call themselves Jews, they are not from Shem and Japheth is mistreating those who came from them who join the Rabbinical Pharisaic Religion that was created by the Pharisees after the Temple and Jerusalem was destroyed.

When IsraEL was during the time of the Apostles right after YAHSHUA went to Heaven, the Hebrew people were already mixing with other nations. They were mainly Hebrews still who lived in Jerusalem because these are the ones whose ancestors return home from Babylon. But those who remain in Babylon begin to marry other people. Then Babylon fail and Persia (known today as Iran which means Aryan). These are the first White people or Japheth children that begin to rule the world. During the time of Esther when King Xerxes rule:

  Of Persian origin, Achashverosh (that is, Ahasuerus or Artaxerxes, but in this case Xerxes), the title (rather than name) of a Persian king: - Ahasuerus. Strong Hebrew Dictionary

 Xerxes realized from Esther what Haman had done. However, he could not change the law he decreed. So he added to  the law that all of the Hebrews to defend themselves. Then something of great significance took place but has gone unnoticed:

 If you study your Bible a mix multitude of people came out of Egypt with IsraEL and they were mainly from the descendants of Ham. The children mixed with Ham children. So, now in Xerxes controlled from Ethiopia  going east  toward China. India was once under Nimrod and the Dravidians were Kushites that lived in southern India.

 Dravidian and Siddi people came from Africa (Winters, 2007a, 2008a, 2008b, 2010). The Dravidians belonged to the C-group people (Winters, 2007, 2008b). They migrated to Iran and India after 2600 BC.  The north Indians are the descendants of Aryans and the south Indians are Dravidians. The languages spoken in five states of south India are considered Dravidian languages and most of the languages spoken in the north are considered Aryan languages. The general script of the Aryan languages is different from the general script of Dravidian languages. The Indians also distinguish themselves by the general north Indian accent and general south Indian accent.

 According to general Indian legend, the Aryans arrived in north India somewhere from Iran and southern Russia at around 1500 BC. Before the Aryans, the Dravidian people resided in India.  This is also when Persia who were Aryan (Iranians) took over Shem's land just as Noah prophesied. They swept down from the Caucus Steppes and took Susa an Elamite Kingdom.  The Medes who were also the first Aryans that had migrated in Shem's land. Gen 9:27

 The Hebrews that stayed in Babylon begin to mix with both the Indo or Aryan people. Then Greece overthrew Persia and the Hebrews begin to become Hellenized and this spread into Jerusalem. But, the Hebrews in Jerusalem hated the Greeks, especially the general who took over Persia area in the east. This is during the time of the  Maccabees  and the Greeks were called Syria. This is true because the land belonged to the Assyrians who built the city we know of today as Syria! Abraham came from southern Turkey the actual land of the Chaldee according to the Bible. He migrated to Haran a small city or suburb of Syria. Abraham send his servant back to southern Turkey between Haran that was called Padanaram to city called Nahor where Rebecca was found. This was all Semitic land not Babylon that belong to the Black people until the Chaldeans took it over during the time of Hezekiah. But the Turks who also came from Japheth took over the land along with the Medes!

 But it was the Greeks and their ideology that brought the Hebrews down. The Pharisees had taken on the ideology of the Greeks and when they came into complete power; they formed the religion known today as Judaism. This Rabbinical religion is totally against YAHWEH Worship of Heaven. By the time of the Day of Pentecost there were Hebrews that were mixed from all over the land.

 Finally, Paul lost his life because he listen to James (the brother of YAHSHUA) that he do the purification that did not come from the law of Moses but by then the Pharisees. These laws were already in place that came from the time of the Babylonian exile. They added rituals that were not Biblical just like the Protestants did when they translated the Bible. EGW saw this in a vision and I believe her vision because they came from THE MOST HIGH!  I do not agree with everything she wrote. She took the history of her day. This history was archaic because it based a lot of Biblical history on Josephus! He was a traitor and knew nothing of YAHSHUA or many things historically he wrote about. We know that today!

 Well that is why this virus has come upon us and America especially. This country had a lot of hateful things done to people of color and  the Gospel must be given to all nations. YAHWEH  brought HIS prophecies back to the forefront and is uniting people and Bidden has shown that we are all Americans and divisiveness is dying. It is not about politics but about people from Japheth, Shem, and Ham; the three brothers’ children are uniting. Truth will be able to shine the light of true Worship to THE MOST HIGH and to start the sealing! The Gospel will be preached to all nations, tongues, and people and THE  FATHER’S house will be a house for all of us! Praise HIS HOLY NAME!

What is cool with Pastor Doug is that there is social distancing and it is being done outside.  I agree with you. This is sensible and practical.

I didn't know what to expect when I read this thread. I know that a lot of Adventist folk are kinda using it as "See, we are supposed to be in church, no matter what" I love going to church, but am in the high risk.  And God told his people to stay inside when the Angel of Death passed over.  I try to use my Sabbath time time to learn as much as I can, watch videos on you tube.   Thank God (thank you Lord SO much) for all of the knowledge given and accessible!

Want you to know that I am not asking in a snotty way,but just want a reference. Can you explain this further?  And where do you get all of your information? It almost reads like the Two Babylons! It is fascinating and I enjoyed reading. I have so many things written down that I am going to look up.

Btw, I love Josephus!   I like what he wrote about Genesis, as well as other things. I like Herodotus, too.

Anyway, thank you SO much for your informative post! Don't know that I agree, but it looks like somebody did their homework!

Theophilus I am a Historian with BA degree, I also specialized in both Biblical and Afrkan Studies. Yes, I have the Book of the Two Babylon’s by Hislop, but he too has a lot misguided truth. He wrote some things not because Nimrod was Kush baby boy and he is the only man that has ruled the entire world. Hislop had some racist view and he wanted to make Ham and Kush to be disobedient to YAHWEH and that is not true. The Bible only focus on Nimrod, not his father or his grandfather. If they were sinners, YAHWEH would have mentioned their sins. Japheth nor Shem sin against YAHWEH it was their descendants who followed Nimrod along with Ham's. Noah's three sons and his grandchildren appeared to remain with Noah. But, Nimrod like Satan planted seeds of discontent we know that all three sons most likely great grands listen. The Bible said they left from the east this meant that Noah and his sons must had left Mt Ararat and moved into the plains of eastern Turkey where they must have spread. However, the masses listening to Nimrod left the east plains travel southeast to the beautiful plains of Shinar near now what is called the Persian Gulf. Gen 10:8-12; 11:1-2

The story about Paul starts when he stayed in  Philippi and it showed that they kept the Holy Convocation of Unleavened Bread. Act 20:6 This also proves that the Holy Convocations were kept after the resurrection of YAHSHUA!

Precepts Given to Guard Decalogue.—In consequence of continual transgression, the moral Law was repeated in awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to govern everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the ten Commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ. They were to be binding upon men in every age as long as time should last. These Commands were enforced by the power of the moral Law, and they clearly and definitely explained that Law (The Signs of the Times, April 15, 1875 [Reprinted in The Review and Herald, May 6, 1875]).

Paul eventually arrived into Tyre where THE HOLY SPIRIT through the disciple there told Paul not to go to Jerusalem. Act 21:4  Paul left there and came to the city call Ptolemais where the famous Phillip dwell who had four daughters who also prophesied. They also told Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. Agabus a prophet from Judea also was at the city:

 And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.  And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy. And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus. And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith THE HOLY SPIRIT, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles. And when we heard these things, both we, and they of that place, besought him not to go up to Jerusalem. Act 21:8-12 

Instead of Paul listening to THE HOLY SPIRIT from all of these people the old Saul arose and acting like a Pharisee he stated:

Then Paul answered, What mean ye to weep and to break mine heart? for I am ready not to be bound only, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of THE MASTER YAHSHUA.  Act 21:13

Because of Paul disobedient and not following what THE HOLY SPIRIT said cause him to be imprison in Rome and to lose his life to soon. He had to use Timothy and others the letter he wrote to the various children of Japheth, the Corinthians, Thessalonians, Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians, and Philippians. He left them this message:

 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. Col 3:25

Paul like Moses did not listen and they both lost  something of great importance, Paul never travel to the other Gentiles he brought into the fold. Moses never cross over the Jordan River to Canaan he died. Lesson learn is to listen to THE HOLY SPIRIT!

Lastly, I want to say, I am not hear for anyone to believe me! I want you to believe the truth in the Bible it will stand on its on merits. I am just a messenger that THE FATHER gave me a precious gift of being a historian and this trade has assist me in doing research (this is what the study means), in all that I do, I do for HIM.
