B/W Photodude Posted November 10, 2020 Posted November 10, 2020 Joe Biden Praises the Holy Father, Laudato Si’ and Catholic Social Teaching during an Interview with the Jesuits The so-called climate crisis is being created to help bring about the green Sunday Law. Sunday, the counterfeit Sabbath, the mark of apostasy, is being disguised as the solution to save our society from destruction. All this continuing agitation for Laudato Si’ is Rome’s master plan to conceal its true intention and establish its ecclesiastical supremacy worldwide. Pope Francis has dedicated his pontificate to promoting Laudato Si’ and Joe Biden promises from “day one” to do the same. They are coming together to save the world. Rome, the first beast of Revelation 13, will be working together with the United States, the second beast, to advance the Pope’s green Sunday law. Are we seeing the end of the United States Constitution and the final sell-out of all our civil and religious liberties? http://adventmessenger.org/joe-biden-praises-the-holy-father-laudato-si-and-catholic-social-teaching-during-an-interview-with-the-jesuits/ JoeMo 1 Quote >>>Texts in blue type are quotes<<< ***************************************************************************** And therefore as a stranger give it welcome. JoeMo Posted November 13, 2020 Posted November 13, 2020 As veterans of this forum know, I have been poo-pooing EGW's prophecy of the papacy being the beast/false prophet for a long time. because of what B/W posted above as well as many other things this Pope has said or done, Pope Francis has risen dramatically on my list of suspects for the beast or false prophet. If Biden's election holds, I also believe we may be 4 years closer to the Great Tribulation. I haven't yet decided to rejoice or weep over this. Quote

I believe we have been invited to rejoice for Jesus said, "And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." Luke 21:28 There are a few ethical dilemmas regarding this, but I will get to them soon. Theophilus Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 I agree 100%. I have always thought so. If social justice and climate change were actually going to be part of this country's agenda, then there had to be someone who was more, shall we say, tenderhearted toward the people? It may not be Biden, it may be the next president, but we are moving toward it. Then again,Biden mat become a Sabbathkeeper. Who knows? I do like the idea of children being reunited, or trying to reunite them,--more equality, for awhile a more humanitarian flow. We just need to minister best we can in the time we have, regardless of who it is. phkrause 1 Quote

I noted that I found some ethical dilemmas to ponder, but first, I wanted to provide this quote from a talk given over one hundred years ago: General Conference Daily Bulletin, Vol. 1 (1897) All judgment is committed to the Son, to Christ, not because he is the Son of God, but because he is the Son of man. As we studied a few minutes ago, God has designed (and he does not change his purpose) to rule the world, the dominion which he gave to man, - not this world, but the world to come, - solely through man. Because dominion was given to man, therefore to man is given judgment. But do not forget that God’s people are not to rule in this world. It is not this world, but the world to come, that God has put in subjection to man, - a perfect world under the dominion of perfect man. Now just note in passing how the simple truth takes the bottom out of every false theory. Take the theory that Christians are the people above all others that have the right to rule in this world, because they are the only ones that are fit to rule. But they are the only ones that have no right to rule in this world. They have nothing to do with it. To them is given the world to come. O, let us not be selfish; when God has given to us the world to come, let us not try to rob the people of this world of all the comfort they can get out of it. Do not rob them of it; it is not fair. Instead of Christians being the only ones who are to rule this world, they are the ones who are to keep their hands off. Let those rule it to whom it pertains. To God’s people pertains the world to come. Then what have we to do? - Our part is to get away from this world, and to gather into our arms as many poor souls as we can get, and take them along. Do not rob them of it; it is not fair. Keeping in mind some of the stated aims of the Biden camp, the past behavior of leftists in this country of persecuting Christians, and the statements of Waggoner, it opens up a number of ethical quandaries for one to consider. Given that Biden's camp (not sure that he, given the state of his dementia, really is the originator of anything coming out of his policy groups) plan to cooperate fully with the Pope in "Laudato Si’", the proposed rollbacks of protections for liberties in this country, and the history of leftist politicians during the previous regime, you have to wonder if it is ethical to have voted for this man and his party. Given that the Democrats and Biden are seemingly wedded to the wholesale slaughter of human beings (as some nearly 60,000,000 have met that fate over that last nearly 50 years), the pile of ethical issues grow even higher. While the mainstream media is vigorously attempting to persuade the people that Biden has won the election, he is not president-elect yet. That only occurs when the electoral college is done with their vote. Given the massive amounts of fraud in the vote counting that has been alleged to have take place, the courts will have to sort thru all of that. (You will have to do your own research on this if interested or just buy the media story that there was none!) But it is interesting that one prior leader (Josef Stalin) of a leftist country stated, "It's not the people who vote that count. It's the people who count the votes." From where I am looking at it, if Biden succeeds, this will have been a stolen election and not something the Democrats haven't done before. Which brings me to this issue, if you vigorously support a candidate, do you not also become complicit in the actions of said candidate? If you vote for someone who supports the killing of the unborn, do you not also have blood on your hands? So, how does one vote? Is it good enough to just pick the candidate of the least moral deficits? When you are picking a candidate, I hear some choosing based on what they believe a particular candidate will do as far as bringing in the persecution of Christians and Sunday laws, which was part of the original post. Are we to struggle against the downward slide into total depravity for this nation, which is the prophesied condition of the world before the end of the age, or do we just let it occur to speed up the Second Coming? How many are really hoping to stop the end time events and just keep living on this earth in "business as usual"? Given Waggoner's statement, "But they are the only ones that have no right to rule in this world. They have nothing to do with it. To them is given the world to come. O, let us not be selfish; when God has given to us the world to come, let us not try to rob the people of this world of all the comfort they can get out of it. Do not rob them of it; it is not fair" should Christians even vote and attempt to change the course of a nation? This also brings to mind one sobering statement from Sister Ellen, "Those who delay a preparation for the day of the Lord cannot obtain it in the time of trouble, or at any subsequent time." (GC620) I bring this up because in church groups, online discussions, etc, it seems end time events and prophecy are consuming the bulk of any talk of religious issues. Little is said about preparing for the return of Jesus to take His people home and end the carnage on this earth. Through much of my life, I have heard people say, "You gotta get ready for Jesus to come." But those same people never said how you do that! I do believe that the Holy Spirit is withdrawing from the earth and is withdrawing from even those who have their names on church books but who have no diligence in searching out for God's will in their lives or as Paul hoped to see, the formation of Jesus in the lives of His followers. B/W Photodude Posted November 22, 2020 Author Posted November 22, 2020 The Catholic Church in the European Union (COMECE) Petitions all National Governments in Europe to Adopt “Laudato Si” and “Fratelli Tutti” For the first time in its 50-year history, the Catholic Church in the European Union (COMECE) has asked ALL member states of the European Union to adopt the policies of Rome. The top Roman Catholic leaders from Europe have shared their path to a better future with national governments across Europe. Rome is calling on the nations of Europe to adopt the encyclicals of Pope Francis, Laudato Si’ and Fratelli Tutti, as a “compass for shaping a new civilization.” The prophetic word and the warnings of Revelation are beckoning us to awaken because time is running out. The clock is ticking. The countdown has begun. http://adventmessenger.org/the-catholic-church-in-the-european-union-comece-petitions-all-national-governments-in-europe-to-adopt-laudato-si-and-fratelli-tutti/ Quote >>>Texts in blue type are quotes<<< ***************************************************************************** And therefore as a stranger give it welcome.
