Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted July 4, 2006 Members Posted July 4, 2006 Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th! http://www.jacquielawson.com/viewcard.asp?code=VG44854346 Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

A lot of our boys serving now will not have any barbecue, see any parades or fireworks. They are sweating in the hot desert fighting off sand fleas and insurgants alike. I am enjoying my freedom, going to shopping malls, drinking my tap water and driving on public hiways without concerns of suicide bombers, chemical weapons or roadside IEDs. This Independance Day I certainly think of our troops. But I will share whatelse I think of. I think of the religious liberty that our founders recognized as a right from our Creator. I think of the fact that in America it is God that grants the people rights and not the government. Our founders captured the sentiment when they said, "that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights". Our rights are not dependant on a king or even up for a vote. Our rights come from our Creator. God bless. Halfstep Denise Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Happy Independence Day, U.S.A.! Thank you for the Jacquie Lawson e-card, rudywoofs! It's one of my favorites. Now, my challenge is to identify all those flowers! I know a few of them. <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/coolhello.gif" alt="" /> A special thank you, also to everyone who has ever served in the military. I praise God that you put your lives on the line for all of us. Several members of my family have served and I am thankful for everyone of them. <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/sparkleheart.gif" alt="" /> Halfstep Denise <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" /> Quote "If you're all God has, is God in trouble? -- Dr. Frederick K.C.
