Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted January 28, 2021 Moderators Posted January 28, 2021 For a challenge to your thinking, in probably unexpected ways: Do Protons exist? https://atoday.org/do-protons-exist/ phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
JoeMo Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 The fact that protons interact with other charged particles exactly as predicted is a strong testament to their existence How about gravity? It has always acted as predicted; but is that sufficient proof that it's real? Same with sunrise and sunset. Is it real? All we need is one single example in all of recorded history to prove current theory is wrong. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't prove that current theories are absolutely correct. Quantum theory is a whole different animal. it is not intuitive. But the fact that integrated circuits work is proof that reality matches the theory (at least up until now). Is it possible that the solar system may someday move into a region of space where the current laws of physics no longer apply? Quote
