B/W Photodude Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 If you are unclear on what the meaning of wokeness, Intersectionality, and critical theory is, then here is a short primer, if you will, that will help you understand these terms. This article also contrasts genuine Christianity with the false religion (cult?) of "wokeness and critical theory" that is sweeping the country and even imported into the Adventist church. The article will also look at BLM and how they also relate to this false teaching. Wokeness Is a Religious Cult and It Is Coming Into The Church Many Adventist church leaders & pastors have bought into wokeness as an effort to meet the needs that they perceive, and once they have bought into the theory, they begin to use secular materials to address it. True, there are some Adventist pastors who are attempting to use the Bible to validate social justice, but ultimately they begin to use secular material and in time they begin to shift towards godless humanism. Watch for it. http://www.fulcrum7.com/blog/2021/1/28/wokeness-is-a-religious-cult-and-it-is-coming-into-the-church As the above article noted, Adventist church leaders are bringing these ideas into the church. Wouldn't you know that even the NAD president is also apparently on board with this teaching. NAD President: Capitol Incursion "Because Whites Feel They Are Losing Their Country" According to North American Division President G. Alexander Bryant: Another paradox is that on the one hand, the state of Georgia sent a Black man and a Jewish man to the U.S. Congress for the first time in the history of the South; but on the other hand, on the very next day, the U.S. Capitol was attacked because a significant number of whites feel they are losing their country and must take it back by force, and they felt like the presidential election was stolen. From the author of the article: The MAGA movement is not and never was a racial or racist movement. That’s a fact. Elder Bryant discredits himself and the Seventh-day Adventist Church by arguing that it is. It was a needless and pointless false assertion. http://www.fulcrum7.com/news/2021/1/19/nad-president-capitol-incursion-because-whites-feel-they-are-losing-their-country Quote >>>Texts in blue type are quotes<<< ***************************************************************************** And therefore as a stranger give it welcome. I wonder who told President G. Alexander Bryant this? Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. "Because Whites Feel They Are Losing Their Country" I do believe we are losing the freedoms piece by piece this country has stood for. Censorship seems to be flourishing without objection from liberals. Jobs are being lost by Trump supporters ,just a tip of the ice berg. I dont think it is a matter of "whites being afraid of losing their country" I am surprised and little sad that I hear more concern from those of other faiths and of no faith if this could be the beginning of "tribulation" I have had very devout SDA's overjoyed that no matter how it is done to Trump , Trump and his supporters have only themselves to thank for the heavy hand of censorship. Gustave Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Not long ago, at work, I heard someone speaking ill of JK Rawlings (Author of the Harry Potter books). It appears that JK Rawlings enraged the "WOKE" by stating that biological men should NOT participate in Women's sports as if they were a biological woman. Not long ago a Tranny-man UFC fighter broke the skull of a female fighter in the ring - again there were calls that it was wrong for a biological man to fight a biological woman regardless of what he claims he thinks he is. To call something what it is really engages the Woke - its representative of the rage found in Beowulf when Grendel hears the merry making. To the Woke crowd this would be akin to criticizing the Koran while in Mecca during the Haj! Woke'ness is the the later stage of liberalism, its where the wound becomes infected and festers up into a boil - when it breaks it makes a terrible and foul mess. Rest assured it will break. Quote

If there is one thing that is funny (the joy of leftists twisting themselves into pretzels to carry out their agenda!) to watch is the current regimes in writing executive orders, one of which is likely to end women's sports. Gustave Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 Interesting article - I agree with most of what the author of it is saying! If a mentally compromised individual wants to "self identify" as a teapot that doesn't mean society should celebrate and support that mentally compromised individuals affirmation. God isn't the author of confusion and a biological man affirming to be a woman and demanding that others affirm the same equates to confusion. Each person "self identifies" what is good or evil which is simply "MORAL RELATIVISM" which started to really rear it's head in the 90's at which point Pope John Paul identified it as a great evil facing every Christian. This following short article does a good job in describing how Catholics should feel about it - likely would be the same way SDA's would feel about it if I were to guess. What Is Truth? Relativism, Realism, The Word? - Catholic Stand Quote
