Briefly. Verse 9: The rest that the people of God experience now is the rest when we embrace Christ and respond to his invitation to come unto him Matthew 11:20-25. Jesus is the true rest that the Sabbath under the Law anticipated. This true rest involves dedication to God every day of the week. The  rest that we will experience in the future is when we are invited to share in the Kingdom of God upon the earth when Jesus soon returns.

Verse 10: This has two aspects, ceasing from sin and ceasing from our own ambitions, plans and self centred activities, and a dedication to God.
