Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted July 5, 2006 Moderators Posted July 5, 2006 Kenneth Lay, founder and convicted head of Enron, died today of an apparent heart attack at his vacation home in Aspen, Colorado. He was facing lifetime incarceration as a result of his recent conviction on massive fraud charges. Guess there's only just so much a human body can take. http://news.yahoo.com/fc/business/enron Quote Jeannie

...Change is inevitable; growth is optional....

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Moderators Jeannieb43 Posted July 6, 2006 Author Moderators Posted July 6, 2006 The pity is that now his estate will probably be freed from paying the millions of dollars in damages which the court awarded against Kenneth Lay. His family will remain rich. And the poor plaintiffs will remain bankrupt. Everybody who owned Enron stock has had their lives ruined by Kenneth Lay.
