Jack Hoen spent 13 years working as a physician and licensed minister in Africa.    To this day he remains firmly committed to the SDA Church.  He has recently written a 225 page book, Adventist Tomorrow; Fresh Ideas.  In this book he discusses 30+ issues that SDAs face today.  It is worth reading and may be obtained from Amazon as well as from other sources.
