Andrews University has published a new $25 book, in which some 51 scientists write a 3-page comment  on Biblical  issues related to the creation of the Earth and/or a global flood.

Why read what scientists said, when the Bible stated the facts! Also, the writers of the Commentaries, in volume one showed the historical and geological facts back in 1949. They back then were more closely related to Biblical facts then today.

Today men have moved further away from the Bible. Was there an ice age millions or billions of years? No but there was an ice age for many centuries after the flood. It did cover most of the earth to destroy all the decaying humans and animals that were still on the earth. We know that the beings during the antediluvian world were enormously tall and used 100 percent of their bring. These beings also produced a lot of children and they multiplied rapidly upon the earth. Ragged mountains were formed along with ice to rapidly destroyed the billions of people that were on the earth. A lot more people then we know were back then; than are here here today. The truth of a flood is when you see the Red Wood Trees and the splitting of the land mass. The Bible said the water was gather together in one place. It was called "seas," the who earth was on giant landmass that stretched all over. Some of the landmass is covered below sea level and this type of balsic land causes earthquakes in the ocean. Some of this land is release and floats back to the top which we called islands. It all has to do with heat and pressure. The Bible also speaks that the land was split even more by meteorites who have in the past hit the earth. Desert land also prove that there was a flood and water removed from these areas along with heat and cold climate proves it.

Finally, today the massive killing of animals that were needed to keep the land and the ocean are gone. Also the destruction of the the massive trees all over the earth and in the jungles; especially in South America. The carbon has brought on earthquakes and the earth is heating up. Alaska islands are sinking because the glaciers are melting, the earth is heating up due to the carelessness of people!

We have not sustain and kept the earth. It is dying and we have brought on the massive diseases that are killing us due to our disobedience, believing in people false theories, instead of THE MOST HIGH! Now, this is the beginning of sorry and next is the Time of Trouble!

Blessings!

If you do not understand why we may want to read such books there is no reason to discuss it with you.

Well Pastor Matthew I am sorry. I thought we could make a comment on the book. I read the article and just gave my thought. I didn't mean to insult you or made you upset. I honestly thought you are  sharing what Adventist are writing about today to see how we felt about it? I appreciate what you've done. So we can voice our views?

Stinsonmarri:  It is fine for you to share your view of both the book and of my post.  I do not have a problem with you doing so.

Your post in response clearly shut off any discussion with you about the book.  As a result of what you stated, no one will want to have any discussion with you about that book.  Such is typical of what you post.

I do not have any problem with you shutting off discussion.  You do not have to discuss anything with anyone in this forum, if you do not want to discuss.

I might snag this book and see what they are saying about the age of the earth. I think the way Bill Maher talks about Christianity is generally pretty bad, however, he did a fairly good job in making a distinction between what I consider to be the proper approach to Scripture Vs. the Fundamentalist approach.
