LifeHiscost Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 ...as part of a life being led by the Holy Spirit? If everybody has the ideal resources to be self sustaining, able to successfully share with others, where would be the persons who are in need of those who are willing to share? Is a person who is willing to accept from others to be considered as a second class citizen? Accepting that scenario as worthy is what makes individuals feel blessed of God when they have much goods, when the Word seems very clear that to be rich isn't necessarily the most enviable circumstance in the body of believers. [:"red"] "And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." [/] Matthew 19:24 KJV [:"red"] "And He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury, and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites. So He said, “Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all" [/] Luke 21:1-3 NKJV [:"red"] "And He said to them, “Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.”" [/] Luke 12:15 NKJV [:"red"] "Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:" [/] Revelation 3:17 KJV <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/DOVE.gif" alt="" /> Quote Lift Jesus up!!
