Clergy pay

Yup, overpriced schools, and when they come out they get the lowest pay of their Career, all at a time when they have student loans, trying to establish a home, get furniture that we want a Pastor to have, get a car we want a Pastor to have....

I have given a lot of thought to the cost of Adventist education. How do the Adventist colleges compare to other denominational colleges? I know our local elementary and high school where I live are the most affordable church schools in the area. However our colleges seem very expensive.

The problem isn't just clergy pay. We are graduating teachers that are $70K in debt and taking jobs for $32K/year. No student should ever finish college with more debt than the annual salary first year out of school.
