  • on on a key pipeline could lead to widespread blackouts, Missouri-based power company Spire Energy warned in an email to customers.

“The STL Pipeline was built to support your energy needs, along with those of more than 650,000 homes and businesses in the St. Louis region,” Spire President Scott Carter wrote in the email. “Since 2019, this safe, fully operational pipeline has been bringing even more reliable and affordable natural gas to our community.”

Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this.

This has us (in St Louis) a little worried. We do have terribly cold winters (and on the other side of the coin, hot, humid summers).  On a personal front, we've made sure to have electric heaters as a back-up plan. Praying that electricity doesn't go out as well (it frequently does in ice storms).

It certainly doesn't bode well for the future.

I think we are all going to have a front row seat to the misery index. There hasn't been any indication the administration is going to  reverse the moronic course he is leading the country on. Instead doubling down on disaster looks to be the way.

We have been assured tho the rise in costs will only effect the rich.  I was surprised the other day to realize that I am a member of that club. A product I use for items  I make and sell online has been on back order at our local hardware for several weeks. The order finally came in,  1 -32 oz can. Thankfully I was able to  grab it.  Nasty surprise when I went to pay for it. Instead of 27.50 it was 32.00.  Owner told me before this was over 32.00 would be considered a bargain if able to purchase
