GHansen Posted November 16, 2021 Posted November 16, 2021 I wonder why SDA needed EGW to outline a medical ministry. Obviously, the system is similar enough to what the RC do that the two entities could join forces for a time. I suppose that SDA doctors may obtain privileges at RC hospitals and vice versa. One might observe the same about the educational system. SDA college graduates/students may transfer to RC universities without problem. SDA seminary professors have their doctorates from RC universities. Both the educational and health care systems are so similar that movement between the two is more or less seamless. Other Protestant denominations operate hospitals and universities, all free from the input of EGW. Judaism does as well. To put it another way, why do/did Adventists require prophetic input to do the same things other religious groups, including Jewish ones, have done without her influence? Quote
