He was DEAD....and IS NOW ALIVE!!!

I have been wondering about the Christian attitude of Jesus dying, then resurrecting. To me, His resurrection seems absolutely ASTOUNDING!!! I do not know of anyone else who has been dead for three days, then has arisen as a real live person again. It really does make me want to holler out to everyone that Jesus REALLY IS ALIVE!!!

But it seems like Christians in general take the fact that Jesus did die and is now alive with a sort of blase' attitude. <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> And, in a way, I can understand...who really wants to go around and tell people that Somebody has died but is now alive again? If you didn't specify that it was Jesus you were talking about, you'd probably get locked up and put on anti-psychotic meds. And when you DO specify that it is Jesus you are talking about, you kinda get patted on the head, and get told "that's nice, dear" or "yes, we know that."

Do people honestly believe that Jesus rose from the dead? <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> I mean, people sit in church and listen to preaching about Christ's dying for us. But nobody seems too impressed. I just want to take people by the shoulders and shake them!! <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
