Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted January 18, 2022 Moderators Posted January 18, 2022 My wife gets out of bed at a normal time for people. However, due to a clinical condition that I have, I typically get up several hours before she does and I then eat breakfast before she arises. Yesterday we filled every available space in our refrigerator. So, today when my wife arose she asked if I had been able to find the baked oatmeal that she had made. (NOTE: It was delicious.) I assured her that I had found it, in two pieces on a red paper plate. I had mashed one piece up, put milk on it and it was delicious. She started laughing as she informed me that the plate had two pieces of prune cake give us by our neighbor. phkrause 1 Quote Gregory
GHansen Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Something [slightly] similar happened to us. We were having lunch with a large group. A dog loving family member, not a vegetarian, dug into a large bowl of meat and popped a piece in her mouth. Another person joined us, a member of the community hosting the lunch. "What kind of meat is that? I asked casually. "Dog," she said, as she popped a piece into her own mouth. Quote
