Morwenna Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 YES! This is what I've been trying to convey to years regarding dress codes for church. Thank you for sharing. For me personally, I like to wear whatever I would wear when meeting my family and friends: something clean, something comfortable, something that won't make them uncomfortable or embarrassed. Quote
GHansen Posted January 22, 2022 Posted January 22, 2022 I had a friend, a good friend, whose daughter and wife had a weekly Sabbath battle on appropriate church attire. Apparently these were not just little quarrels but included shouting, recrimination, and tears. In fact, they made Sabbath and church attendance a dreaded weekly tradition. I have seen Academy girls dressed like hookers presented to the congregation for affirmation. I've also seen very attractive woman pastors dressed in provocative clothing [in Asia, not the U.S.]. Always nice to have a good book to read during those times. Quote
