Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted February 8, 2022 Moderators Posted February 8, 2022 I took my wife to a fancy restaurant for dinner not realizing they had a dress code and required a tie! The only thing I had as a pair of jumper cables so I put them around my neck and asked if it was okay to go in. The Maître d' said it was okay, so long as I didn't start something! phkrause and Theophilus 2 Quote Gregory
GHansen Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Lot of people can eat what they like, when they like and get along in life fairly well. Some physicians recommend eating several times a day, even though a program like this contradicts digestive physiology. There are conditions such as SIBO, Crohn's, GERD, spastic colon, and others which are likely connected to frequent meals. People who suffer from spastic colon can not control their elimination. One unfortunate lady was dining with friends at Chasen's. It was Ronald Reagan's favorite restaurant. She had an attack of spastic colon and moved her bowels at the table in the presence of her companions. She was hospitalized the next day. Highly likely that if she had been following EGW's dietary counsel, this would not have happened. phkrause 1 Quote
