The single best thing that I have done in my life was accepting Christ and becoming an Adventist.

I am proud of my Church and the things that it does. My life would not have been as fulfilled as I have been blessed to have.

I rejoice that 20,000+ people take their stand for Christ and are Baptized every Sabbath, and that we have one of the highest retention rates of any Church organization of a significant size.

Almost 1/2 of 1% of the entire worlds population now meets in an Adventist Church every Sabbath.

I know where I have been, and I know where I am going, and I know my redeemer lives.

The single best thing I have done in my life is marry my wife. Together, the best thing we have done is raise our three kids who are becoming responsible, successful adults, beginning their own families. They are all still members of the church, although we raised them to be believers in God first and Adventists second.

The best thing I have done is giving Jesus a chance. After destroying my life with a series of bad decisions I decided to give Jesus a chance. I made a deal. I told Him I would try living life His way and if it went well, I would continue doing. The Lord is faithful, He challenged me by saying "try Me". I have yet to find a situation when my will would have produced a better result than His will.

Besides having my family and dear friends, I have to say the best thing I have ever done is go on an oversease evangelism trip. I have now been on about 8 trips in 2 years and have been so humbeled, excited, blessed, and thrilled to see God changing people's lives. I echo Graeme. I haven't done anything best in my life. I do however have several incredible screw ups attached to my name.

In a way, that was not my doing.

I thank God every day that he gave me my wife to share my life.

But everything that I can take credit for is as I previously described. I have displayed very little foresight and no perspicacity in any of my decisions. Sad but true.
