Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted March 8, 2022 Moderators Posted March 8, 2022 The following long article discusses the life and ministry of Roy Branson. It has much of interest to students of SDA life and history. It is informative as to the life that some missionaries have had. It gives background on some aspects of Adventism. It also challenges one to consider the role that one should have in Adventism. https://spectrummagazine.org/news/2022/roy-elwyn-branson-1938-2015 phkrause and Kevin H 2 Quote Gregory

Moderators Kevin H Posted March 9, 2022 Moderators Posted March 9, 2022 Powerful! I see that out paths crossed a lot, but with years between when I was in those places and when he was. He was there either long before me, or after me. I don't believe I ever got the chance to meet him. I do thing that some of the articles in Spectrum and presentations of the same topics by more traditional Adventist sites tend to be a bit on one side or the other. As two of my college professors from Atlantic Union College would say "When you preach the truth both sides end up hating you." While I have different feelings for the different articles, I appreciate the work of Spectrum and Adventist Today. I'm sorry that he only played the good kid on Faith For Today, it is fun to play the villain!!! phkrause 1 Quote
