Sabbath thoughts:  As part of my Sabbath observance, I often spend some time in reflecting on the created world in which we live.   Today, March 26, 2022, I spent an hour considering some recent investigation of Slime Molds, a multi-nucleated, one celled organism, Planaria a very simple flat-worm and in the study of the growing tip end of a plant root.  In all of these cases there was demonstrated an ability to learn in a manner that cannot be explained by genetics.  In other words, some elemental function of what we might call a brain and intelligent thought was demonstrated.   I am awed by the complexity of the world in which we live, and as it was created by God, and our present minimal level of knowledge as to the manner in which God created it.
