Amelia Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 I did before I had to go back to work full time. I use to volunteer at the Portland Adventist Community Services AKA PACS. Some day I may tell stories of all the politics of this place. Sheesh, talk about drama. Dr. Shane Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I give blood. Does that count? I also work as a volunteer on various political campaigns every couple of years. Most of my missionary work I do on my own so I don't have to play politics within the church. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
Amelia Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 yes, I think giving blood counts. Especially if you are a universal blood type. You are volunteering if you are an organ donor or you are listed for bone marrow matching. Even if you donate your hair to "Locks of Love" you are a volunteer.
