OK, how many people would show the same religious tolerance and acceptance if the Muslim in the seat next to yours spread out his prayer mat in the aisle and went through his ritual prayers?

If he was blocking the aisle, objections would be valid. If he could go somewhere away from thoroughfares, good luck to him.

We live in fear & this is instilled by our lovely governments.

Good point...in private you can be more free to pray as the Spirit moves you.

Would you rather exchange intimate communications with your partner in private, or in a crowded place? To me prayer seems similar - private talk between myself and God.

How many Muslims have hijacked airplanes? How many Jews have hijacked airplanes?

Maybe it is just me but Muslims seem a bit more of a threat on airplanes than Jews do.

If a man or a woman is going to do any sort of terrorist act (an illegal activity in and of itself) then why would he/she care if it is legal or not to say prayers in a public setting.

I'm sure the thought, "I'm going to blow up this plane, but I'll have to say my prayers at home because I don't want to break the law" isn't going to resonate.
