Awesome. I hope you can make it. Good question, I just noticed that too. It's probably just to get a rough head count of how many will show up at each location. I think, and this isn't confirmed, but I think you can also watch it online at their website...Ok I just sent an email to ask and will respond as soon as I find out for sure. Quote
Pockey Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 Ok, I just heard back. We can also watch this online live, and the archives will be available about 2 hours after each broadcast. Quote
Nicodema Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 They emailed me and said i didn't have to register ... now how am i gonna sneak out? i hate lying ... and i don't want to tell him where i'm going. maybe i'll say i'm going wandering at the mall. if i actually do that for awhile before or after the seminar it wont be a lie Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot
Pockey Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 If I may ask, who is he (your mate?) and why don't you want to tell him where you're going? Would he get mad? Quote
Nicodema Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 he would not get mad, but he might worry about me. more to the point, i am an extremely private person about some things. most things. many things. yes, my fiance. or rather, pre-fiance. <img src="/adventist/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot
Pockey Posted September 13, 2006 Author Posted September 13, 2006 Private as in, quit asking you questions about the situation, or private as in, you'd rather just not tell him that you would be going to this? Quote
Nicodema Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 private as in i don't want anyone knowing my business, especially when i'm doing things that show i'm out of control. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot
Administrators Gail Posted September 13, 2006 Administrators Posted September 13, 2006 This might be a stab in the dark, Nico, but would this be something that your significant other might be interested in himself? Why not invite him too? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Nicodema Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 i doubt it. anyway i don't want to invite him to sit around watching stuff on a tv screen. i'd rather it be something in person. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot
Pockey Posted September 14, 2006 Author Posted September 14, 2006 Well, I hope you and everyone here can check it out either at a meeting or on the internet. I'm excited! Quote
Nicodema Posted September 14, 2006 Posted September 14, 2006 actually, i might just catch it on the internet ... it is very dangerous for me to be around humans right now. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot
Pockey Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 Please continue to pray for this. There was a bit of technical problems with tonights broadcast/archive. Quote
Nicodema Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Interesting. It cuts off right after they read a Bible question about Satan and it's so choppy after that you can't hear how he answers it. About 17+ minutes into the broadcast. Maybe Satan didn't care for his answer. Quote "After such knowledge, what forgiveness?" -- T.S. Eliot
Pockey Posted September 18, 2006 Author Posted September 18, 2006 I noticed that too. Good thing the sound went through afterwards. They said Pastor Doug's mic wasn't recieving on the 1st broadcast yet the sound still went through somehow. Quote
