ABOUNDING GRACE

"And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”—2 Corinthians 9:8 (ESV)

Truly we all need forgiving grace always for everything we do falls short of perfection.  Grace also has another facet besides forgiveness which is enabling grace that empowers us to live the life of good works that we are called to live.  This grace is imparted to us as we commune with God which includes set apart times for prayer but is also a way of life in which our heart continually cries out to God for His help at all times and and in all circumstances.  We have many precious promises that grace always abounds to strengthen and guide us in every time of need.  "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”--Hebrews 4:16 (NLT)  Praise God!  We all can say with Paul that "by the grace of God I am what I am.”—1 Corinthians 15:10 (NIV)
