The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave to Him---can be viewed through three different mindsets; the revelation from Jesus, the revelation about Jesus, and the depiction of revelation of His people reflecting Him. (Rev 12:1) In the traditional historical setting of biblical prophetic interpretation, we can find a time parallel between the seven churches, seven seals and seven trumpets.

In Rev 1 we find Jesus ‘among the candlesticks,’ placing Him in the Holy Place of the heavenly sanctuary, and as He administers his attributes (found in Rev 1) to each of the seven churches enhancing victory in His saints, we find the parallel of the administration of the gospel in the seven seals. Using Isaiah’s Seraphim, Ezekiel’s Cherubim, and the horses of Zechariah we see how heaven transmits this gospel to the earth, and the colors depict the amount of resistance and the purity or distortion of the gospel message as delivered through the church. Christ is still operating from the Holy Place even though we have had a vision of the Most Holy Place in Rev 4-5. We know that Jesus is still operating from the first compartment in the trumpets because He is by the altar of incense.

As we see the parallel of the seven trumpets unfold, we see the efforts of all heaven and God’s people on earth to be separate, to be purged and cleansed, purified, and to watch the judgment of those Jews that are not Jews. (Christians) As we study this process, we find the church in a progression of compromise, to acceptance of false teachings and doctrine, to acceptance of a false gospel, to an acceptance of false Christs. We see a decline of true worship into a system of worship that embraces pagan and occult practices. We find that now, in place of one pure Lady, we have Two; the second being a direct agent of the Dragon. We can even see in the fifth trumpet that as Jesus gives the keys to Satan, the dragon unleashes his false horses with all types of false doctrine and worship practices.

As we vicariously pass through the early church, and that of the middle ages, we enter a time of reformation, of an organized church resistance, of the pure Lady battling the Woman on the beast; and as we reach near the end of this valiant effort, we see Jesus move into the Most Holy Place ministry; as the sixth church, seal and trumpet are heralded, and the time of judgment ‘has come,’ and there is a worldwide pronouncement of the true gospel, and a call for all of God’s people to be faithful in obedience and testifying of their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! (Rev 12:17)

The 7 seals, as I see it, symbolize the period of the Time of the End in Earth's history.

The 7 Trumpets are the Trumpets of War, the Last War on Earth.

U R not alone in that belief---in fact, in this forum U have a lot of comapany. I was merely quoting the Scripture of Revelation which places Jesus among the candlesticks in the churches and seals, and the altar of incense in the trumpets; which according to our SDA doctrine, places the time period as before 1844.

U would be amazed at how many Adventists do not believe in our sanctuary doctrine, or even that there is a ministry of the heavenly sanctary governing the earth. However, that does not make it so.

Anyone who believes as I do that the first 4 seals are the gospel "going forth unto all the world" and is the function of the horses from the OT, and the duty of every Christian who is truly a Christian, and creates the persecution that brings earth to its climatic scenario, fully understand biblical time.

The Ministry in Time is the revelation of Jesus in His people, the reflection described in Rev 12:1. It is the living gospel, the true propagation of Righteousness by Faith.

This is an idea worth thinking about.

I was just thinking today that events symbolized in Rev. by the seals, trumpets, bowls, women, etc. will all occur within just a narrow time period, less than 20 years, not several thousand or several hundred years. It's probably been thought of already, because for the most part, it makes a lot of sense.
