In his 30s he developed the belief that if he bathed, or otherwise cleaned up he would die. For 60 years he practiced his belief of never cleaning up. Earlier this year his native village convinced him to bathe. At the age of 94, it was a long time in coming. True to his belief, following his bath he did die.
