Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted January 2, 2023 Moderators Posted January 2, 2023 January 2, 2023 Some 389 days ago Becky De Oliveira underwent surgery of a glioblastoma, which is a very aggressive form of brain cancer. The tumor was successfully removed and the standard treatments for cancer followed. Her recovery went well. Becky is a PhD. Student at the University of Northern Colorado. She is married to Japhet De Oliveira one of the founders of The One Project. A few days ago her health took a drastic turn for the worse and it was determined that the glioblastoma had returned. She will be undergoing surgery for the third time, possibly Tuesday January 3. The family has given me permission to go public with this information. Prayers on your part are requested. The neurosurgeon was conservative. He has bought her a little bit of time. She wants to make it to May to celebrate her dad’s 80th. He is not sure she will make it. So Becky has a few things she wants to now get done. She has her speech and partial sight. She can’t read your texts and messages, but Japhet is a reasonable audiobook reader.
