Another site I visit made the comment if/when Jimmy Carter dies, will Trump go to his funeral?

Some of the comments surprized me a lot

I don't think so,or at least I hope he doesnt. His reception would be chilly at best and hopefully he won't mar the service. His response to Jimmy Carter at the funeral of President Bush should be a reminder enough that his presence is not wanted or necessary

You are right, but Trump would not be the one doing so. The media and those that are so   obsessed with all things Trump forever more would take care of that. Trump should stay away not because of the actions of others but out of respect for the man and his family. He showed total disrespect before so let's not go and pretend now. Either way the media will have a field day with his presence or absence

Seriously, yes. It is obvious he would not be asked to speak or give the eulogy,  The chatter would come from the media as it did when he attended the funeral of  Former President Bush. I don't recall him saying much but I am certain if you did a search you will find many articles that did. Either way, the media will have a field day .
