If the left truly wanted to hear the last of Trump they would not have kept shoving Trump to the forefront for years. They would have let him retreat without treating Trump like a hibernating bear, poking it in the eye on a regular basis to make sure he stayed angry. Many in the conservative camp would have much preferred that. But without using Trump to keep the fire going it would have died out. But of course then the biggest fear of the left is there might be to much focused on the man they put in the WH. The petty,petty news stories about all things Trump/conservative. Not one left leaning voter, here or in general  gave the slightest concern to  the dirty politics of the left. The Russian collusion was a beaut,  Hilary paid for  those kind of lies about a opponent. Hunter's laptop, clearly implicating Biden, would have had the left actually frothing at the mouth if that was a Trump family member. Use just a little imagination if Trump's daughter acknowledged in her diary that she showered with her father. Wondering if that was why she was so messaed up. But as long as the man taking the shower with his daughter is Biden, not a big deal.

It is easy to see why a liberal wants Trump front and center as long as a Biden hold the office, Be careful what you might get. Many people a lot smarter and more experienced politically are of the opinion that Trump's popularity will be enhanced. A martyr might prove to be the next choice.  If that should happen, with his temperment it will be "Katie bar the door"
