Key Guy Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Scheduled to open October, 2007, in Bollingbrook Full text.. http://www.suburbanchicagonews.com/heraldnews/business/106068,4_3_JO22_PALMER_S1.article "From his small, simply furnished office, Isaac Palmer II, chief executive officer of Adventist Bolingbrook Medical Center, frequently looks out over his shoulder at the steel pillars of Illinois' newest hospital. Set to open in October 2007, the 300,000-square-foot Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital will grow to four stories high. A beehive of construction activity surrounds the building, just north of Remington Boulevard. Each day as he watches it grow, Palmer wishes it could open tomorrow. "I wonder, 'Is there anything I can do to speed things up?'" he said. The long-awaited $152 million, 138-bed facility will have state-of-the-art medical equipment for minimally invasive surgery and top-of-the-line equipment for obstetrics and intensive care, plus a fully digital medical records system." Key Guy Posted October 27, 2006 Author Posted October 27, 2006 Where is Bollingbrook in relation to Hinsdale? Bolingbrook is approximately 25 miles SW of downtown Chicago along I-55. (about 10 miles SW of Hinsdale as the crow flies). Back in the 70's, there was this massive INDOOR amusement park there. It was so cool. 'Old Chicago' was the name. Quote
