Not I know a guy that knows a guy and he told me how great it is living in China. Perhaps you have or do live there. I don't know. But in view of your attitude  you should be able to provide proof of the superior living conditions in China. Thanks

We are not only on a different page but I think a completely different book. I am well aware of the unjustified hideous treatment of the chinese . That has nothing to do with the culture in china which is really off topic anyway. But it does bring up something I have always questioned concerning the reparations, racism, affirmative  action topic. My ancestors were Scottish ,they were defeated by the english in 1650 ,many killed and the others captured and sold into white slavery.  One of many events which deprived them of their extreme wealth and freedom. There still is a castle in Scotland that belonged to my ancestors and carries their name. So do I have a claim against the english, reparations or??. If not why not?

The Jews have been persecuted, slaughtered and enslaved since biblical days. If any group of people that had been mistreated could be expected to riot, burn cities and demand special treatment it would be the Jews. Instead you find the opposite. 

The chinese a little different as they came voluntarily but still were abused and killed for simply being different.  As a group again you do not find the rioting, burning cities and demanding special treatment and payment.

I would love to have someone explain why my sons, absolutely no help, no money, only a willingness to work at whatever and do whatever it took to pay their own way should be expected to step aside for affirmative action because of their skin color. If everyone that applied for special consideration had the same drive, same motivation and same work ethic that my sons  and many others had they would not need affirmative actions or reparations paid by people that never owned slaves to people that were never slaves

HIstory has always been a favorite topic of mine. 

The hardship that was the norm for most and compounded for the black community is something I don't think we can comprehend. I have read many histories of black individuals that that succeeded and thrived  and received an education against impossible odds. They were not rioting and burning cities, altho it might have been understandable in the era they lived in. They would not have understood the word, affirmative action. I would never want to see those conditions again Many others of all skin color  did the same. We have lost a lot of what made their success possible in this country. Now they need safe rooms in college so they don't hear something they don't like

China is not off topic in a discussion pertaining to the demise of America. China has essentially none of the social problems that America has. People worry about war but all China has to do is sit back and wait. America will destroy itself. Black have well documented health issues because of their lifestyle, e.g., toxic diet leading to obesity, hypertension, cardiovascular problems, diabetes. The White man isn't forcing them to eat fried chicken and pork back and barbecued ribs. Reparation money will make KFC franchisees rich and then U. S. taxpayers will pick up the costs of the health care for those who are stuffing themselves with buckets of chicken. They'll blow through that reparation money like a bag of coke.

What's really unfortunate is that some SDA people of color are making war on EGW. EGW's health writings would do more good for people of color than reparations. The situation is a mess on several fronts. Most likely, it will get worse, not better.

Very true, I believe America will destroy itself, we are well on the way. That is hardly the fault of one group, one skin color. Many caucasians are doing their best to hasten the process worshipping at the altar of inclusiveness and diversity. The meaning of those two words can have wonderful results or what we are seeing now.

nd the black community is the only one with health issues? Nor are they the only ones refusing to take responsibility for their own problems. I know plenty of overweight white people, my son as white as it gets, very healthy diet, not overweight, physically active, moutain hiking ,daily walks etc just  had a near fatal heart attack. I have hypertension,not overweight and I enjoy fried chicken and barbecued ribs, less now the older I get. What caused my problem?

That is just plain insulting. US taxpayers pick up the tab for the costs of health care for every skin color. Whites are pretty big offenders in that area as well whether they eat fried chicken or not.

As are many white people. Following a healthy lifestyle would do more good for all. About the only thing I agree with is the situation is a mess on all fronts, such as drag queen show for our young children, the cult of transgenderism ,some of what is being taught in our schools, a whole host of issues But hardly unique to the black community

Nobody with a cholesterol of less than 150 has a heart attack. Feel free to reply but start a new topic.  The laying of all ills at the feet of one group because of affirmative action is getting tiresome. I am glad it was struck down, however that really doesn't have anything to do with health or how recipients would use reparations money.

So spare me the sarcasm ,"to provide a safe place for you".
