Suzanne Sutton Posted October 30, 2006 Posted October 30, 2006 Cell Phone vs. The Bible I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phones. What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets? What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it? What if we gave it to our kids as gifts? What if we used it as we traveled? What if we used it in case of an emergency? What if we upgraded it to get the latest version? WHERE IS YOUR BIBLE? --Submitted by Joyce Rogers, in Good News, July/August 2006. Parade Orange Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 i luv that Quote All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD"there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.
Moderators LynnDel Posted October 31, 2006 Moderators Posted October 31, 2006 If you have the right little gizmo, your cell phone can BE your Bible, or any number of versions, plus EGW - just download to your pocket PC/phone. Handy dandy. Quote LD
