Norman Byers, N.D. Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I'm curious to hear what you have to say about what Simeon said to Joseph and especailly to Mary when he said the following (See the bold clause). Luk 2:33 And Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were spoken of him. 34 And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this child is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against; 35 (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed. I'm not going to argue about your comments just curious what you think. Norman Quote The unconditional pardon of sin never has been, and never will be. PP 522
Moderators Nan Posted November 1, 2006 Moderators Posted November 1, 2006 An interesting question - I guess I tend to put the fulfilment into the future, reasoning that after Christ's death on the cross He would become the Judge of this world - and at the judgement every secret thing will be revealed.
