Could this happen?

I was Thinking about what will happen just before Christ returns today. I thought about what would happen if some how the terrorists hit several country's oil producing capabilities. Let's say we could not get 3/4 or more of the oil we now use. What would happen?

I thought maybe the government would freeze all ability to transact anything. They would stop collecting taxes because so many would not be able to work or get supplies for their busineses. They would stop credit card companies from collecting any money and a moritorium on mortgage, car and other loans. I think everything and everyone would just have to forgive or postpone so much debt mainly because very few could make money.

No planes, trains or automobiles could run, some power plants would shut down which could lead to water pants being shut for a while or slow down. It seems like everything and everyone would just have to chill for a week or so till some form of monetary system could be set up.

A system to control everything would have to be out into place real quick. I'm not even talking about a Sunday law here, just what would happen in the secular world. Maybe this will set up the Sunday law.
