Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted March 13, 2024 Author Moderators Posted March 13, 2024 For those who do not understand how the SDA denomination elects people to office: Under the arcane procedures that are in place to elect the General Conference President, Dr. Johnson will never be voted by the people who elect that person. In actual fact, under the rules, the mere fact that he has announced he will run for the position has made him ineligible to be voted on for the position. Yes, he is a person whom I know well. He has served both his Church (Seventh-day Adventist) and the State of Colorado well. Yes, in Colorado, he has had more political influence than most people are aware of, as that power has not been given wide publicity. Yes, he could bring a lot of common sense to the workings of SDA Church. It will never happen. Kevin H 1 Quote Gregory
