America's Prophet:  In the following article, Cliff Goldstein suggests that someone other than Ellen White is, America's Prophet.  See:

In the distant past, I have often not favored Cliff Goldstein's published views. In more recent times, I have occasionally thought highly of his viewpoint. On this one, he has struck a home run. The lesson to me, I guess, is:  We should never allow our preconceived bias to affect our evaluation of where a person is now.

I found the following to be of special interest:

Sure, we have our own seventh-day wackadoodles. My favorite, especially now after forty years at the General Conference, was the woman who claimed Jesus showed her in vision that Jesuits were murdering General Conference leaders by poisoning them at potlucks and then replacing them with doubles.

Phkrause has posted the following on this subject:

Jonathan Cahn (born 1959) is a Messianic Jewish pastor in New Jersey who traces his faith to having miraculously survived a train hitting him in his Ford Pinto. (A train hitting a Pinto?  No wonder he deemed his survival miraculous. Those contraptions could blow up when hitting a pothole.)

In my opening post, I mention that I have often not favored his views, but, in the cited article I felt that  he had hit a home run.  The Review has posted my comment on their website.

This speaks well for the Review.
