I forgot how rare it is for delegates to raise issues. In this last GC there were MANY who raised the issue of the vaccine statement. They promised to look into that again. 8 months later, silence.

Sadly people have become bitter and even left the church. I assume you watched the session as many of us did I, for one, was embarrassed at how the leadership conducted themselves and tried to blame the new online system for the lack of recognition for motions raised and seconds to the motions received from online delegates. Amounting clearly to the viewer to be deceptive. Crushed my belief in a spirit led GC. Sadly has become a corporation. We have lost our voice, we have become a number. I pray we in our hearts remain a name in the lambs book of life and pray for our leaders to repent. On your point Ted Wilson even admitted their actions did not reflect the original motion in the statement he had read during the vaccine days, which he admitted was not the statement voted. How does that happen and yet no apology, thousands were harmed by that action. E.G. White said in her later days that the GC was no longer the Voice of God. SAD, it has come full circle to where they again believe they are.

I doubt there will ever be an apology.  It is a sad chapter in our history. 

Even now after many deaths including some Adventist leaders, there is no formal admittance that the vaccines they promoted were harmful.

Sadly when one rejects the prophet one pays the price. She warned us of their Pharmaceuticals, as does the word of God.

Clearly the word for sorceries in the following verse is no mistake considering the very context it is delivered in. Billions were made by the men involved, and sadly we opened the doors to them in many a congregation. Betraying all our members. EG also told us to shun elders that got involved in politics. Her words have become hollow. Jeremiah feared this day, soon her cup will be full and all who sit in silence will suffer loss. Soon the great men of the earth will mourn as there commerce comes to a halt, whether there stock-in-trade is religion or goods of a more concrete nature.

Anti-vaxers should spend some time in an emergency room or with AIDS patients before protease inhibitors were available. Western medicine can provide near miraculous results. Some people have bad reactions to vaccines, antibiotics, and other pharmaceutical products. Some have bad reactions to herbal medicine. Doesn't mean herbal medicine is bad. TCM courses in herbal medicine require knowledge of toxic herbs used in Chinese medicine.  They are known to be poison when used improperly. Certain individuals can die from eating peanuts or even being near them.

People who refuse vaccines for infectious disease which result in the sickening of others should be liable for the financial implications of that sickness. If death results, prosecute them for manslaughter. In either case, incarceration should be an option. If you want to live in a cave somewhere, with no human contact, you can. If you want to function in a society, get vaccinated. Violation of your conscience? Adolph Eichmann's conscience told him to kill every Jew he could get his hands on. Jean Weidner's conscience told him to save every Jew he could. Your conscience should not allow you the freedom to harm others.

There was a group of anti-vaxer types in Angwin years ago. One young woman they got a hold of insisted on not consulting an M.D., instead using colonics. Last I heard, she developed meningitis, was blind, crippled, and in the ICU before her parents took her home. SDA anti-vaxers often don't understand what EGW said about western medicine. That misunderstanding can lead to a defiled conscience, i.e. your position is erroneous. You become a menace to the society in which you live.

Most anti-vaxers are ignorant of what modern medicine can do; consequently, they oppose something they can't or won't understand.

I know no one who died from herbal medicine. Some got sick, but none died. 

I know over 7 who have died from vaccines.

I have thought about this more. I know several people who have died, not FROM herbal medicine, but because they did not take prescription medicine. Some were high blood pressure and died quickly. 

Herbal works slow. Drugs work fast. There are many times we need quick results.
