Nancy Mace Loses It After Being Fact-Checked to Her Face

“You’re a raging Democrat… a raging leftist with that kind of questioning!” she blasted.

A testy Nancy Mace had a meltdown at a town hall event, calling a reporter a “raging Democrat” after she asked a question the South Carolina gubernatorial hopeful didn’t like.

During the town hall in Veterans Café and Grill in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina—part campaign stop, part audition for a Trump endorsement—Mace called herself “one of the most serious members of Congress.” Within minutes, she vowed to ban “chemtrails” and get fluoride out of South Carolina’s drinking water.

But the fireworks really kicked off after the event, when a reporter confronted Mace over her touting of infrastructure upgrades tied to the Inflation Reduction Act—legislation she opposed.

“You’re very confused,” Mace snapped, before pivoting to gender politics. “You’re a raging Democrat… a raging leftist with that kind of questioning. And I would say, as a woman, like, you might wanna think about how you view other women.”

Mace insisted she had every right to claim credit for a road improvement project funded through the bill she voted against. “It is literally our job,” she said. “Maybe you’re confused.”

The reporter clarified that her question wasn’t about job descriptions—it was about consistency.

“The funding came from the Inflation Reduction Act,” the reporter noted. “Which you voted against.”

“Right,” Mace acknowledged, unfazed. “I mean, absolutely, I can tout that.” She then launched into a breakdown of spending figures, arguing that most of the $1.2 trillion package was “completely wasted.”

When pressed again on the apparent contradiction, Mace didn’t budge. “This is literally a job of a member of Congress,” she said—again.

She wrapped things up by advising the reporter to “read the Constitution.”

Before the event even kicked off, there was a flashpoint. Video shared on social media appears to show Mace’s field director removing people from the venue.

“Out, get out!” she snapped at constituents, one wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with the words “GOP Against Trump.” The group of women protested that they shouldn’t be ejected merely for holding up signs.

“You’re getting out right now, you mouthed off,” the field director claimed, before calling a police officer for assistance. “We didn’t do anything buddy, we’re standing here,” one woman protested.

Afterward, Mace claimed she heard some protesters inside the venue calling her supporters “a four-letter word, see you next Tuesday.”

She said she did not see that anyone was pressured to leave. “I didn’t see that at all,” Mace said. “Everyone has a First Amendment right to be here,” she added.

Other people told NBC News that they felt pressured to leave. “I didn’t clap and I booed something, and the woman in front of me turned around and said, ‘What are you doing here?’” Kathi Hunt, an independent, said.

David Hunt, who is a Democrat, said he had an “overwhelming sense” they’d be ejected, so they left.

Communications Director Sydney Long told the Daily Beast that “we don’t check party affiliation at the door.”

“Congresswoman Mace takes every question with no filter, and invites Americans from every political stripe to hear from her firsthand,” Long added.

“Congresswoman Mace welcomes all viewpoints at her events, but if you are a risk to the safety of others or harass others, you’re out.”

The Myrtle Beach event was Mace’s first town hall since announcing her candidacy for South Carolina governor, and her first since she was mocked for sharing a picture of herself riffing on Sydney Sweeney’s “great jeans” American Eagle ad campaign.

After thanking the audience for listening to her pitch, she said she would detail some of her plans “because I don’t want you to believe what the fake news is going to tell you, that Nancy Mace only does memes.”

Just a day earlier, Mace had tried to capitalize on the furor over Sweeney’s “genes” ad with a meme of her own.

The 47-year-old posted an image on X of herself aiming an assault rifle at an unknown target. Referring to her ultra skinny jeans, Mace wrote: “Nancy Mace for Governor has great jeans.”

Trump Self-Soothes With Bonkers Big Chart Presentation Bashing Biden

One of the charts proudly displayed by the president wrongly reported on “medium” family income.

Donald Trump staged an impromptu press conference to flaunt a stack of glossy charts, which he claims show the U.S. economy is doing far better than the administration’s official figures suggest.

The president, who fired the commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics for reporting what he alleged without evidence of being “rigged” underwhelming job numbers, dragged reporters into the Oval Office Thursday for a surprise show-and-tell, suggesting everything’s better now than under former President Joe Biden’s watch.

Trump was joined by Stephen Moore, a senior visiting fellow in economics at the Heritage Foundation, the conservative think tank behind Project 2025.

Moore frequently praised the president in the presentation as they flipped through multiple easy-to-understand charts displaying the positive figures.

One chart, which Trump was particularly proud of, showed that the average household income in the U.S. had risen $1,174 during his second term compared to the Biden administration.

“This one chart really says it better than anything, this chart is pretty amazing,” Trump said before holding up the large line graph to reporters. “All new numbers.”

“That’s an incredible number,” Trump added. “If I would have said this, nobody would have believed it.”

Another chart on show at the Oval Office suggested something called the “medium income” of real households had increased to $6,434, rather than the correct terminology of median income.

Neither Trump nor Moore, who was found in contempt of court in 2013 for stiffing his ex-wife Allison on more than $300,000 of alimony, child support divorce settlement payments, noticed the spelling mistake on the graph.

The charts, displayed in the White House by the author of Trumpnomics, come as independent forecasts paint a bleaker picture of the state of the U.S. economy.

While Wall Street has been solid and even absorbing most of the fallout from Trump’s tariff plans, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that only 73,000 jobs were added in July, falling below expectations, and that May and June totals have been revised down by 258,000.

The Budget Lab at Yale also estimated on August 1 that Trump’s “reciprocal” tariff plan would cost households an average of $2,400 a year. Elsewhere, Goldman Sachs has predicted that the upcoming July inflation report will show a 3 percent increase in consumer prices over the past 12 months, up from 2.3 percent in April, as reported by the Associated Press.

To please Trump, who tries to avoid reading where he can, Moore began crunching some numbers and putting them on colorful graphs and line charts, which he knew the president would enjoy.

“I showed him about five or six of these charts, and he was excited about the good news,” Moore told The New York Times “So he said let’s have an impromptu press conference.”

Moore added that the numbers originate from unpublished data from the Census Bureau, making them extremely difficult to independently verify.

Moore also backed Trump’s firing of BLS commissioner Erika McEntarfer, while Trump doubled down on claims the agency reported negative jobs report for political reasons. “I think they did it purposely,” he said.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Beast.

What Trump's Fed pick reveals

National Guard

The legal battle over President Trump’s deployment of National Guard troops to quell protests in Los Angeles heads to court today. In June, hundreds of people held demonstrations in the city to protest immigration raids by ICE. In response, Trump deployed 4,000 National Guard members over the objections of California Gov. Gavin Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass. Now, a judge will determine if Trump violated a 147-year-old law that allows the president to federalize the Guard during times of actual or threatened rebellion or invasion, or when regular forces can’t enforce US laws. Newsom’s attorneys say Trump illegally made an “unprecedented power grab” and violated the Constitution by overruling local authorities to send in the military. Trump’s lawyers said the National Guard troops were dispatched only to protect federal property and personnel and didn’t engage in any law enforcement activities.

Trump-Putin Summit

President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin are scheduled to meet in Alaska on Friday. The invitation marks the first time since 2007 that Putin has been invited to the US outside of UN-related functions. It will also be the first meeting between Trump and Putin since 2018.   The two leaders will discuss an end to Russia’s three-year war with Ukraine, which has killed hundreds of thousands of people, most of them Russian soldiers. Russia controls roughly one-fifth of Ukrainian territory, over half of which was captured in the first weeks of the war. Putin is widely expected to require territorial concessions in exchange for a ceasefire. The meeting does not currently include Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has vowed not to concede territory. Trump Rages at Nobel-Winning ‘Deranged Bum’ in Late-Night Meltdown

The president went after economist Paul Krugman in an irate Truth Social post.

Donald Trump has lashed out at Nobel Prize–winning economist Paul Krugman in a late-night rant after he weighed in on the president’s tariffs and the drama surrounding his jobs report.

In a typically irate post on Truth Social, Trump attacked the former New York Times columnist, who was awarded the Nobel in economics in 2008, as a “Deranged BUM” while urging people to adopt his own trigger-happy approach to lawsuits.

“Paul Krugman of the New York Times has been predicting Doom and Gloom ever since my great election success in 2016. In other words, he has been wrong for YEARS, as ALL markets have been hitting new HIGHS, and are now higher than ever before,” Trump posted just before midnight ET on Sunday. “People stayed out of the ‘BEST MARKET IN HISTOY’ [sic] because of this Trump Deranged BUM. Sue them!”

In response, Krugman told the Daily Beast he is “flattered” by the attention from Trump. “He must think people are listening,” Krugman added. “I might add ‘Deranged BUM’ to my profile.”

Trump didn’t specify exactly what about Krugman, an economist at the City University of New York, set him off, probably because there are plenty of recent possibilities to pick from.

Speaking to MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, Krugman blasted Trump for instantly dismissing accurate jobs data the moment it turned negative.

“If you actually know anything about how they [jobs reports] are put together, it would require basically hundreds, if not thousands, of people to be in on the conspiracy,” Krugman said. “This is just silly stuff, and it’s clear that if Trump sees a number or a fact he doesn’t like, he claims that it’s a conspiracy against him.”Krugman has also warned that Trump’s latest wave of tariffs, which took effect Aug. 7, could hammer the U.S. economy.

“We’re definitely seeing a slowdown in the economy. Whether it actually crosses the line into a recession is less clear, but… it’s going to feel pretty bad,” he told NPR.

In his Aug. 5 Substack newsletter, Krugman condemned Trump for firing Erika McEntarfer as commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics after the agency reported the U.S. added only 73,000 jobs in July, far below expectations. Without offering evidence, Trump called the damning report “rigged” and politically motivated.

“Claiming that economic data you don’t like is fraud perpetrated by a deep state conspiracy has been standard practice on the right for a long time, going back to the ‘inflation truthers’ of the Obama years,” Krugman wrote.

Jealousy might also be fueling Trump’s fixation on Krugman. The president has repeatedly stated he wants and even deserves a Nobel Peace Prize and has been put forward for the prestigious honor several times.

His trade adviser, Peter Navarro, has even floated the idea that Trump’s tariff strategy warrants a Nobel Prize for economics, the same honor Krugman won in 2008 for his work on trade theory and new economic geography.

A furious senior doctor calls out the MAGA man’s “tepid” reaction to the shooting attack on the CDC.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been called out by a former surgeon general who claimed he “failed” in his slow response to a deadly shooting at the CDC’s Atlanta headquarters.

Former U.S. surgeon general Dr. Jerome Adams, who served during Trump’s first term, said as Health and Human Services Secretary, Kennedy’s response to the crime at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was “tepid.”

“How you respond to a crisis defines a leader, and quite frankly Secretary Kennedy has failed in his first major test in this regard,” Adams, a former inner city trauma doctor, told Margaret Brennan on CBS’ Face the Nation.

“It took him over 18 hours to issue a tepid response to these horrific shootings, and that’s not even considering how his inflammatory rhetoric in the past have actually contributed to a lot of what’s been going on,” Adams said.

The Daily Beast has contacted the HHS for comment.

A 30-year-old shooter killed police officer David Rose during Friday’s incident at the CDC, a public health agency that plays a key role in tackling the health crises that hit America.

The gunman, who also died during the incident, tried to break into the CDC’s headquarters before being stopped by guards. He instead opened fire on the building from across the street.

The attacker was identified by law enforcement as Patrick Joseph White, a man who had blamed the COVID-19 vaccine for making him depressed and suicidal.

A neighbor in Kennesaw, Georgia, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that White “seemed like a good guy” but spoke with her multiple times about his distrust of COVID-19 vaccines.

Last week, Kennedy canceled research into mRNA vaccines that would have cost $500 million, citing unproven concerns about their safety. In a statement, he said, “The data show these vaccines fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections like COVID and flu.”

Speaking on Sunday, Adams said Kennedy had yet to “unequivocally” condemn the violence at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“I want to be clear, because our secretary of HHS has not been,” Adams said. “Violence is never the answer, no matter your level of frustration or anger with the system. We have to find better, more peaceful ways to express our concerns and work towards solutions.”

The former surgeon general was also critical of the contents of Kennedy’s statement, released on Saturday, in which the secretary said “no one should face violence while working to protect the health of others.”

Adams said, “He said no one should be harmed while working to protect the public. There’s an out there... If you don’t believe that people are working to protect the public, then that means it’s okay to commit violence, at least in some people’s eyes.”

In the past, Kennedy has incorrectly linked vaccines for measles and mumps to autism and called the COVID-19 vaccine “the deadliest ever made.”

Kennedy’s comment on Saturday honored the service of the staff he has so often slammed.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic shooting at CDC’s Atlanta campus that took the life of officer David Rose. We stand with his wife and three children and the entire CDC family,” he said.

“We know how shaken our public health colleagues feel today. No one should face violence while working to protect the health of others.”

A union representing workers at the CDC said the incident “compounds months of mistreatment, neglect, and vilification that CDC staff have endured,” CBS reported.

Fired But Fighting, a group of former CDC staff, blamed Kennedy for the villainization of the CDC’s workforce through “his continuous lies about science and vaccine safety, which have fueled a climate of hostility and mistrust.”

Laura Loomer Stuns MAGA Vets With ‘Despicable’ Rant Against Medal of Honor Recipient

Republicans raged against the conspiracy theorist after she targeted a former U.S. Army captain.

Conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer has alienated even her most loyal supporters after railing at a French-born Medal of Honor recipient.

After the Army recognized Capt. Florent Groberg, who received a Medal of Honor for throwing himself at a suicide bomber in Afghanistan in 2012, in an X post on the anniversary of the incident, the far-right activist went on the attack.

“Are we supposed to believe the Army couldn’t find a Republican and US born soldier? They had to find an immigrant who voted for Hillary Clinton and spoke at the DNC as Obama’s guest?” Loomer wrote on X Saturday.

The MAGA devotee—a favorite of President Donald Trump—further described the retired soldier as an “anti-Trump leftist” and attacked Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll for not “properly vetting” him.

Groberg himself replied to the post: “Oh boy… Thirteen years ago today is my Alive Day, the day I nearly lost my life, and four of my brothers, including three Army leaders, never came home. I’ve served under presidents from both parties and will always honor my oath to this country."

He added, “Yes, I spoke for 60 seconds at the DNC when asked about service and sacrifice, not politics. For me, 8/8 isn’t about parties. It’s about the lives we lost.”

Loomer’s rant drew condemnation on social media from Republican veterans, including former GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, who wrote, “This is low even for you.”

“As a conservative, Republican, combat veteran with a Purple Heart, this is the most obnoxious trash I’ve seen on social media in years,” another user wrote. “This man saved lives with full knowledge his survival was unlikely. When we are in uniform, and everything we did in uniform isn’t red or blue. It is green and remains Green for eternity.”

“As a veteran, you are a disgusting individual for attacking him. He has done far more for our country than you will ever do. Who cares if his politics doesn’t line up, it does not make him less of a hero!” chimed in another.

Even proud Loomer fans took umbrage at her attack on Groberg: “Laura, I am one of your biggest supporters, but you are very wrong on this. A hero is a hero, it transcends politics. I will always respect and salute a Metal of Honor recipient. God Bless Captain Groberg.”

Loomer later doubled down on her remarks.

“I got a call from a reporter a few minutes ago asking me if I’m deleting my tweet below. I said no. I don’t care about the outrage mob. And I am right to be posting about this,” she wrote on X.

She then claimed that the Army had used the “weight behind the [Medal of Honor] to issue partisan political attacks and undermine the Commander in Chief.”

Loomer’s attack on the decorated veteran comes amid reports of her influence in the White House, which has earned her the nickname “Trump’s Rasputin,” referring to the Russian mystic who had influence on Tsar Nicholas II. She has been credited with Trump’s decision to fire at least 16 people from the administration.

Trump Plots Crackdown After Seeing Homeless People on the Road to His Golf Course

The president shared photos on Truth Social of tents—and told people to leave “IMMEDIATELY”—after being driven to his club.

Donald Trump vowed a hardline crackdown on homeless people living in Washington, D.C., after seeing people camping out on the route to his golf course, according to a report.

The president demanded that homeless people leave the capital “immediately” in a Sunday post on Truth Social while sharing images of tents and homeless people in the capital. The images Trump shared were apparently taken from his motorcade while driving from the White House to Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, according to The Guardian.

One of the images shared by Trump showed several tents pitched on grass along a highway on-ramp around one mile away from the White House. Another appears to show a person sleeping in front of the American Institute of Pharmacy Building on Constitution Avenue.

Speaking to Politico’s Playbook, a White House official said Trump’s clampdown on D.C. stems from the president’s unhappiness at the overall cleanliness of the city.

“What it really is is the president has been driving around D.C. and has seen the filth and has seen the squalor himself, and he wants to make it more beautiful and more safe,” the official said.

Trump also wants to reduce violent crime in the nation’s capital—and has arranged a press conference for Monday morning to outline his plans.

The U.S. military is preparing the National Guard for deployment under the plans to target crime in D.C.,

according to the New York Times. This is despite official federal figures showing violent crime in D.C. fell 35 percent from 2023 to 2024, and is the lowest it has been in over 30 years, according to figures from the Metropolitan Police Department.

Hundreds of troops could be sent to D.C., although it is unclear precisely how many will be activated or what they will do once they are there, unnamed officials told Reuters.

Some of the potential tasks include protecting federal agents or even doing administrative work to free up law enforcement to carry out the jobs Trump wants them to do, one official added.

“It has become one of the most dangerous cities anywhere in the World. It will soon be one of the safest!!!” Trump added in a follow-up Truth Social post announcing Monday’s press conference, which he claims will “essentially, stop violent crime in Washington, D.C.”

Trump has already ordered federal law enforcement to ramp up patrols in the D.C., with nearly 450 federal officers deployed on Saturday, a White House official told NPR.

Around 120 FBI agents were also deployed for overnight shifts to assist D.C. police tackling crimes such as carjackings, reported The Washington Post.

Trump’s targeting of D.C. comes after he expressed his dismay over an assault on Edward “Big Balls” Coristine, a 19-year-old former employee of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) who was attacked in an alleged carjacking in D.C. Two minors from Maryland were arrested over the incident.

In response, Trump threatened to “take federal control of the city and run this city how it should be run,” and called for juvenile suspects to be tried as adults.

A number of Trump supporters have also expressed hope on social media that “Big Balls” may even turn up to Trump’s Monday press conference to speak out against violent crime in D.C.

Trump previously sent National Guard troops and Marines to Los Angeles amid the anti-ICE raid protests which were taking place.

Unlike in all U.S. states, the president directly controls the National Guard in the District of Columbia.

Speaking to MSNBC on Sunday, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser pushed back on the president’s attacks on D.C., saying it is “not experiencing a crime spike.”

She also called deploying Guard troops, who are not law enforcement, “not the most efficient use” of military resources.

“Washington, D.C. will be LIBERATED today!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on Monday morning. “Crime, Savagery, Filth, and Scum will DISAPPEAR. I will, MAKE OUR CAPITAL GREAT AGAIN! The days of ruthlessly killing, or hurting, innocent people, are OVER! I quickly fixed the Border (ZERO ILLEGALS in last 3 months!), D.C. is next!!!”

Farmers Fume at Measly Deal to Make Way for Trump’s New $1.5B Golf Club

Farmers are reportedly being kicked off the land for the equivalent of $3,200 and some rice.

Farmers in Vietnam are being forced off their land for the equivalent of just one just a few thousand dollars each to make room for a $1.5 billion Trump golf course.

As Vietnam was trying to finalize a trade deal to prevent President Donald Trump from imposing crippling tariffs on Vietnamese products, the country agreed to fast-track approvals to build a Trump-branded golf course on a 2,450-acre site in Hung Yen province, near the capital of Hanoi, Reuters reported.

Originally, the developers—a Vietnamese real estate company called Kinhbah City—had planned to pay thousands of villagers more than $500 million to leave the land, which many have relied on for decades for their livelihoods, according to Reuters.

Now, the farmers are being paid $3,200—less than the average annual salary in Vietnam—and being given a few months’ worth of rice provisions, sources told the news outlet. After a lifetime of growing bananas, peaches, longan, and other crops, they worry they will not be able to find new jobs.

There is no room for negotiation, as Vietnam’s Communist government manages the farmland. Farmers are assigned small plots for long-term use, and can be taken away again when the government decides, according to Reuters.

In May, President Trump’s son Eric attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the project, which is being financed and developed by a Vietnamese real estate company called Kinhbac City.

The developer paid the Trump Organization $5 million for brand licensing rights, and Trump’s family business will run the club once it’s completed. The farmer compensation is being handled by the developer, according to Reuters.

The president claims the Hanoi club and other international Trump real estate deals don’t represent a conflict of interest with presidential duties because Trump’s assets in the business are held in a trust managed by his children.

The income, however, still accrues to the president, meaning both he and his children are getting rich from the deals.

One farmer told Reuters he would have accepted a low compensation rate for leaving if the land were to be used to build roads or other public infrastructure.

“But this is a business project,” he said. “I don’t know how that would contribute to people’s life.”

Representatives for Vietnam’s agriculture ministry, the Trump Organization, and Kinhbac City did not reply to questions from Reuters about the compensation rates. The Daily Beast has reached out to the White House and the Trump Organization for comment.

In June, Eric Trump told the Financial Times, “If there’s one family that hasn’t profited off politics, it’s the Trump family.”

It was a bold claim considering the massive real estate and cryptocurrency deals the family has inked in the months since Trump won re-election.

In December, Eric Trump revealed that a new Trump Tower was being built in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In May, plans were announced for a Trump-branded luxury golf course in Qatar that will be part of a $5.5 billion development project, and a $1 billion Trump hotel and residence was announced in Dubai.

Before Trump took office, a New York judge had ordered The Trump Organization to pay $350 million in penalties for fraud after the company was found liable for vastly overstating the value of its real estate holdings to obtain more favorable loan terms.

Now, Eric Trump says the Trump Organization is worth $8 billion to $12 billion, according to the Financial Times. The family’s crypto holdings have also come to rival its real estate portfolio, the paper reported.

Trump Loses It at Jasmine Crockett in Unhinged Rage Post

The president also attacked members of the progressive legislative group “the Squad.”

President Donald Trump has lashed out at Rep. Jasmine Crockett, claiming she has “very” low intelligence and calling for her to take an IQ test.

In an unhinged rant on Truth Social Monday, Trump reignited his feud with Crockett while also taking aim at the group of progressive House lawmakers known as “The Squad,” which includes Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan.

“‘Congresswoman’ Jasmine Crockett is a Low (Very!!!) I.Q. Individual, much in the mold of the AOC Plus Three Gang of Country Destroying Morons-Only slightly dumber,” Trump wrote.

“Each of these political hacks should be forced to take a Cognitive Exam, much like the one I recently took while getting my ‘physical’ at our GREAT Washington, D.C., Military Hospital (WR!),” Trump added. “As the doctors said, ‘President Trump ACED it, something that is rarely seen!’ These Radical Left Lunatics would all fail this test in a spectacular show of stupidity and incompetence. TAKE THE TEST!!!”

The self-described “very stable genius” has often boasted about passing a test known as the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), which is used to detect cognitive impairment or early signs of dementia and is not a measure of intelligence.

The test involves, among other challenges, drawing the hands on a clock to indicate a certain time and identifying animals.

In April, Trump took the MoCA as part of his physical at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Doctors declared that he “exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health” and, bizarrely, cited his “frequent victories in golf events” as part of his active lifestyle.

The president has previously challenged Crockett and Ocasio-Cortez to take an “IQ test to see who comes out best” as part of his ongoing war of words with the two progressives.

It’s unclear what prompted Trump to revive his demand that Crockett do so, but the Texas representative has been an outspoken critic of Texas Republicans’ push to gain five more congressional seats in next year’s midterms through gerrymandering.

Crockett hasn’t held back in her attacks on Trump, referring to the president as a “wannabe Hitler” and a “piece of s--t.” She’s also condemned his repeated use of “low I.Q.” as an insult, suggesting he reserves it for people of color.

“This is a person that has a problem with people of color, period. I don’t care how many Black MAGA are out there with their hats,” Crockett told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins last week. “I want to be clear, when we look at who it is that he’s kicking out of this country, it is people of color.”

In response, a White House spokesperson told the Daily Beast that Trump has also used the “low IQ” insult against white people, including former President Joe Biden and actor Robert De Niro.

Crockett and The Squad did not immediately respond to the Daily Beast’s request for comment.

Trump Cashes In After Digging Buddy Out of $5.5 Billion Hole

AI giant Nvidia has struck a deal to pay the White House 15 percent of its profits from computer chip sales to China after the president went “TACO” on export restrictions last month.

The White House will rake in billions in fees from a company owned by a pal of President Donald Trump after the president walked back trade restrictions that limited the firm’s profits.

Nvidia told the Financial Times on Monday that the company, along with fellow AI-chip manufacturer AMD, will now pay 15 percent levies on computer chip sales to China in exchange for the Trump administration granting them licenses to export to the country.

Last month, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, whom Trump has described as “my friend,” secured a sit-down where he begged the president to reverse a Commerce Department policy, implemented in April under the White House’s sweeping Liberation Day tariffs, restricting sales of the company’s advanced H20 chip to China.

At that meeting, Huang sought to persuade Trump that the path to U.S. AI-dominance lies in selling more of those chips, used in bleeding-edge data centers that train AI models and operate AI applications, to a hostile country the Nvidia CEO says is home to more than half of the world’s leading AI researchers.

It worked. Less than a week later, Nvidia announced it had received assurances that the Trump administration would grant the desired export licenses and that it hoped to “start deliveries soon” after suffering more than $5.5 billion in lost sales due to the restrictions.

“It’s so innovative and dynamic here in China that it’s really important that American companies are able to compete and serve the market here,” Huang said in an interview with China’s state-run CGTN TV network. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, meanwhile, previously told CNBC that China would only be getting Nvidia’s “fourth best” chip.

Security experts were less enthused.“Bejing must be gloating to see Washington turn export licenses into revenue streams,” Liza Tobin, a China hawk who formerly served on Trump’s first National Security Council, told the FT. “What’s next—letting Lockheed Martin sell F-35s to China for a 15 per cent commission?”

The Trump administration has not said how it plans to spend the proceeds. The deal with Nvidia and AMD is the latest about-face in Trump’s trade war. His repeated flip-flops on trade threats against foreign adversaries has earned him the moniker TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) among Wall Street stockbrokers.

The Daily Beast has reached out to the White House, Commerce Department, and AMD for comment.

A spokesperson for Nvidia said that, “While we haven’t shipped H20 to China for months, we hope export control rules will let America compete in China and worldwide,” adding that “America’s AI tech stack can be the world’s standard if we race.”
