Yes. probably too small to be seen by the naked eye.  Yes, it will probably go out of orbit and return to space.  But, it is interesting.

'Mini Moon' Prepares to Leave Earth Until 2055

Earth is about to lose its tiny bonus moon. 2024 PT5, a 33-foot-wide asteroid that hung around Earth for two months, is expected to carry on with its journey through the cosmos this week. We'll lose sight of our "mini-moon" after that, though the rocky body will swing by for one last look in January before disappearing until 2055.

Astronomers say a small space rock that lingered near Earth several months ago and was referred to as a temporary “mini-moon” may actually be a chunk of the moon that chipped off thousands of years ago.
