When was the Son given to humanity

At the fall, humanity was at odds with their Maker. They were given Satan's nature. They were at enmity with God. There was nothing within them that could turn back to God. That capacity had died on that fateful day. I had to ask myself, in this condition how could it be possible that the family of Adam could survive 4000 years before the savior came on the scene? 

The conclusion I had to come to is that the Son of God was given to humanity at that time to replace that which had perished because of rebellion. He was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world and the light that lights every man who came into the world. The provision was already to be put into action. The Son would give His life to the fallen race, right then and there. He was the enmity against evil that God promised to the serpent so that the seed of the woman would have something that could bring them back to God. 

EGW states, "As soon as there was sin, there was a Saviour. He who has given light to all, He who has followed the soul with tender entreaty, seeking to win it from sin to holiness, is in one its advocate and judge. He who through all the ages has been seeking to wrest the captives from the deceiver's grasp, is the one who will pass judgment on every soul. HLv 133.3 "

I've come to believe that the Son, who lived in every offspring of Adam, is that still small voice that is reaching out and pleading with the Father on each souls behalf. If the soul would feel the divinely supplied need for release from sin, it could accept that heart cry as it's own. If the soul would consent the Son would so identify with its thoughts and aims, so blend its heart and mind into conformity to His will that when obeying Him it would be but carrying out its own impulses. The soul would be thinking God's thoughts after Him. 

4,000 years later the life of Mary's son, who was fully in submission to the Son of God, would be a living parable to make clearer the plan for mankind to be fully restored to the image of God.

When I considered the demoniac in Luke 8, it seemed that there was a full and complete possession. As I consider that this capacity of completely filling the soul temple to the point that the spirit and the human act as one, I realize that God must have made this capacity possible for His own use and the Devil had hijacked it. If this is the case then I understand in a better way how the Son of God has been bearing the sin of the world from Eden until this day. In each individual the Son feels distinctly the effects of sin and he bears it for us or it with crush us. In the Desire of Ages it says he saw and felt it all and it was torture to His Spirit.

"As one with us, He must bear the burden of our guilt and woe. The Sinless One must feel the shame of sin. The peace lover must dwell with strife, the truth must abide with falsehood, purity with vileness. Every sin, every discord, every defiling lust that transgression had brought, was torture to His spirit. DA 111.4" He saw and felt it all.

"That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses." Matt. 8:17

Jesus never experienced the myriad of diseases that affect humanity, but the Son of God who is spirit, dwelling within all humanity could bear their iniquity and experience their sicknesses and infirmities in a very real and intimate way.

These words above have given me reason to believe that the Son took up residence in everyone to attempt to save some. When I consider the story I grew up with that he suffered baring the sins of the world for a few hours on the cross, and what I have come to see, that he has suffered the burden of sin from the fall until this day, it is beyond comparison. This kind of sacrificial love cannot be measured.

I believe that the marriage union and procreation hold the most premier object lesson as to the relationship to our Creator and the plan to redeem us from this world. Heaven will be a ceaseless approach onto God through His Son. The Son within each of the redeemed will draw us closer and closer to the intimate union that He had with the Father before rebellion entered in.

"By His life and His death, Christ has achieved even more than recovery from the ruin wrought through sin. It was Satan's purpose to bring about an eternal separation between God and man; but in Christ we become more closely united to God than if we had never fallen. In taking our nature, the Saviour has bound Himself to humanity by a tie that is never to be broken. Through the eternal ages He is linked with us. “God so loved the world, that He gave His only-begotten Son.” John 3:16. He gave Him not only to bear our sins, and to die as our sacrifice; He gave Him to the fallen race." DA25

Consider the marriage union:

The bride stands naked and unashamed before her beloved. She feels no fear of rejection or shame because of any flaws in her outward appearance for she is at peace in his acceptance and love for her. He looks at her and says, "Thou art all fair, my love, I see no spot in thee." In his presence she feels an overwhelming desire for life from him to create new life within. His intimate connection with her fills him with such a strong desire to know her more deeply, and if he could he would enter completely inside her and feel what she feels right out to the ends of her fingertips; to look out through her eyes and see what she sees. Every consummative act deepens and creates more life in her.

The husband is the one who determines what is to be created and she is the one who creates it. He supplies a seed which is fully daddy and she provides an egg which is fully mommy. When the two blend together and become, not fully mommy and fully daddy, but mommy and daddy combined. In that child the two actually become one. A new creature is born. Coming from a place of darkness into a world of light.

Again and again, through experiences of life, when the Light of heaven draws near, and places His finger on something He wishes us to see. In His presence a plague spot is exposed, something in our character that His pure light gives us the ability to see as He sees it. When we see it for what it is we come into agreement with Him why it must be left behind. I believe this is the investigative judgment in a very personal way. As we stand naked and unashamed with a divinely provided need for life from Him, as He says, Thou art all fair, my love, I see no spot in thee. In this intimate place He brings life forth from the Son within. Humanity and divinity are blending together a new creature is brought forth as we day by day grow up into the fullness of the stature of the Son of God. We become partakers of the divine nature as He is a partaker of our humanity.

Every time I think of the Son actually living within each of us, willing and doing according to His good pleasure. It is like I see a spark of light into eternity. I feel so small in the expanse of it all. My little mind says how can these things be?

We enter this dark world with the nature of Satan.

"Having conformed to his own nature the father and mother of our race, he thought to establish here his empire." DA 114  Adam could only pass on to his descendants what he had. Being born with the nature of satan does not make one a sinner. Disobedience or violating ones conscience is what makes one a sinner. That is why Jesus could have a sinful nature and yet remain sinless. He inherited all the baggage from his predecessors and daily put every bit of it in the grave.

"Jesus accepted humanity when the race had been weakened by four thousand years of sin. Like every child of Adam He accepted the results of the working of the great law of heredity. What these results were is shown in the history of His earthly ancestors. He came with such a heredity to share our sorrows and temptations, and to give us the example of a sinless life" DA 48

He mortified those evil traits by baring his cross daily, never giving them expression, and finally destroying that nature on Calvary. At the resurrection a new creature came out of the tomb. Satan's nature remained, never to see the light of day. Satan was a defeated foe, temptation, and sin were now made extinct and Jesus became the progenitor of a new race of beings who have become partakers of a divine nature. Humanity and divinity are combined.

We also leave this world through death and enter a world of light by being born into a new family with Jesus as a new Adam. And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. Rev. 1:4

Romans chapter 6 tells us that we have been crucified, buried and resurrected with Him. And by that God tells us that our old man was crucified that the body of sin might be destroyed in verse 6. So, if this is what God has declared and His Word cannot fail, then our old nature has been made extinct. To walk by faith means that we believe what God believes. Anything that is opposed to His word comes from a familiar spirit. They try to convince us that we are still alive through various avenues that our old man is still active. Just as Eve was tempted to doubt what God had said. Also, when Satan insinuated doubt by saying, "If you are the Son...." Jesus chose to lived by the words from the Father's mouth at the river 40 days prior.  Both faced the challenge to the word of God through appetite. The enemy uses every possible avenue to get us to deny what God has said and believe a lie. The enemy suggest thoughts which can arouse feelings and here is where so many fail. These thoughts are so familiar that we think they are our own thoughts and we start to believe our feelings. But Father has told us that we are dead and our life is hidden with Christ in God. In this manner we put another nail in the coffin of the old man. Death is our victory.

At the beginning of your thread there is a line that says "moderation actions" with an arrow to is right. If you click on the arrow you'll get a list of items that you can do. One of them is to "move" click on this and than you get another menu with a list of all the other threads, just pick the one you want to move this thread too. After you pick the one you want to move it to, it will than give you some other options as to what you'd like to do. Having said all that I'm not sure if you will be able to do this or have to ask Stan or GM to move it for you. I hope this helps!!

The Son was given to humanity before the creation of the earth and obviously prior to the creation of our 1st Parents.
