Pockey Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 link You've probably heard the story of CNET editor James Kim whose body was found today in Oregon. I've been following the story and it's so heartbreakingly sad. I wish I had posted earlier for prayer. I hope we can pray for his wife and kids. They couldn't believe how far he had hiked in the snow. It must've been only the sheer willpower of trying to save his family that kept him going. Quote

Dr. Shane Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 In Minnesota they taught us never to wonder out in a storm. They sell these "survival kits" to put in the trunk of your car. Your possability of surviving is much greater if you stay in your car where one is at least out of the wind. Burning the tires was smart of the family. It gives off a lot of black smoke which helps rescuers find them. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
Administrators Gail Posted December 7, 2006 Administrators Posted December 7, 2006 Yes, it is a tragic story indeed Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
