The current issue of Spectrum ( Vol. 53, Issue 1) contains two articles on Adventists and Catholics that I believe may be of interest:

*  Reinder Bruinsma, Adventism and Catholics in a changing World: What can we learn from each other?  This is an eight-page article that is linked to his published book:  Adventists and Catholics: The history of a Turbulent Relationship.  

*  Fr. Romanus Ike, A response to Reinder Bruinsma.  This is a three page response to the above article.    Fr. Ike is associated with the Diocese of San Bernardino and also serves as a Chaplain at the Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Spectrum  issues are placed on the Internet.  However, I do not believe that this issue has yer been placed on the Insternet.

FAther Romanus Ike has made a 4-minute video speech about his view of the SDA Church.  The following is a link to that video.  That speech appears to me to differ from his article in the Spectrum issue cited above. NOTE:  I do not mean that it disagrees with the Spectrum article.  Rather, it is simply different.
