On Saturday, May 10, 2025, Adventist Today will host a Zoom Conference on the use that EGW made of the writings of other people.  The following link will take you to an article that will inform you of this conference  and provide you with the codes that will allow you to join and participate in that conference.  The Conference will begin at 10:30 AM Pacific time, 1:30 PM Eastern time.  Donald McAdams has a strong background in early SDA research on this subject.

Gregory, I was watching an interview with P. David Gates. He commented on a vote in the 2015 GC meeting about EGW. Is that something you are familiar with? Is there someplace I can go and read about it?

In a study of the writings of Ellen White, it must be remembered that she did not say or write everything that it is claimed that she said or wrote.  The following is a listing of a few statements that cannot be proven to have been said or written by her.

In that interview, P. David Gate made several comments that appear untrue. 

I understand now why he is so controversial.
